This is NOT NOT a comment on the Dark Zone. I'm usually a solo player and when I want an adrenaline push, I go to the Dark Zone for a bit. Usually try to score some loot and get it out. Have about a 60% success rate. This means I get ganked a lot in a lot of different ways. It is what it is. The only time I kill any rogues is usually by accident. BUT last night I met up with a rouge wearing shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. Emptied a half a clip into him when one burst of his P416 made me a smoldering mess. This guy had a Custom P416 G3 with a 25.8 dps 750 rpm and a clip of 60. The gun he didn't use on me was his Eagle Bearer. I have heard that most of the P416's run in the 17.1 range. I've heard some talk about one or two at 19. One guy recently mentioned one about 22. MY question is.......how do you get one up to 25.8??? Can you increase a dps???? Do all of those raids trying to get the Eagle Bearer drop out of sight loot along the way?????? Moral to this story....look out for Hawaiian shirts and I guess don't go into the Dark Zone with an ego.
My P416 is over 27k. Obviously having a near max roll is beneficial, but the way we get it that high is by using red mods and high AWD and AR damage modifiers on the gear. Gila holsters have 2 mod slots, backpack usually has one, chestpiece 1-2, and with 12% AR on gloves and 15% on chest and 11% on backpack, getting past 25 shouldn't be difficult at all.
My only question... were you in a normalized DZ or the ODZ?Originally Posted by DaMahn96 Go to original post
Same here as already mentioned, 42% AWD, 47% ARD and 90% DTE. 16% WD vest and 10.5 WD backpack...I too believe 14.5 WD Backpack is a myth. I've used a chart showing 12% being the hard cap on backpacks. 345k armor with Unbreakable. The key for me is sturdy mag and rolled talents of Ranger and Extra. Allegro is good for quick damage but you run out of ammo before finishing many enemies. Extra with sturdy gives 60 rounds and I always finish the kills off. Ranger makes my P416 hit much higher than the advertised 27k damage. A guy in my clan has 29k damage on his and he is 65 years old. He has the luckiest drops I've ever seen. Also as mentioned, red mod slots are key to these builds. Look for Alps climbing gloves with AR damage and Devastating because they also have a red mod slot on top of that.
