SB snipers still require a sync shot, otherwise once player or any team AI gets detected, they shoot through everything. Vehicle finally broke prior to entering the building to capture Jensen's assistant.

Armored SUV would be limited in what it can do, mainly because it trades speed and handling for extra armor, plus only minigun is usable and other AI teammates don't even attempt to break windows on SUV. APC could work too, but only if team AI can manage to prioritize targets, which almost never happens.

edit: Number of enemies is reasonable, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's up to RNG if additional patrols spawn, as always.
Ok. I’m impressed. I can only circle the building once before my vehicle is destroyed, then I really need to bail way down the driveway or I’ll be surrounded and dead in short order.

How did you do it (in more detail please!)

One of my challenges is I’ve not fully developed my AI Team skills. They go down fairly quickly in situations where they are outnumbered.

    This is a challenge!

28 guys inside the main building

That’s 77 enemies. I never realized there were so many. I’ve always done this mission systematically using stealth so you don’t realize the numbers.

I’m impressed. In fact, when I come in with the vehicle, so many guys come pouring out of the building my frame rate drops through the floor (PS4 Pro). It’s an insane number of NPCs.
I also just loaded up my game on PC, and with my Tier 1 character got the following for this mission at night:

6 snipers (two in towers, 4 on the rooftops)
basically 14 on the grounds patrolling:
    some 12 at the outpost

of the 26, one travels between the o/p and grounds.

There are zero bad guys inside the building, and that's been my experience. In fact based on simple timing one can actually sneak inside to the assistant, then exit (much easier if snipers are removed naturally).

This brings me back to some other aspect of what folks have experienced with this game - are we playing the same game? Does the platform make a difference?

Whoa! That’s bizarre. I took a photo of the tagged enemies from the drone. I’ll post it later this evening so you can see what I’m dealing with. How could it be so different.

Ps. Any attempts to incite faction warfare with Unidad, have the Cartel kicking their *** in short order.

I also took a snap with the drone of the empty building, so will post it also. I'm currently camped nearby, attempting to get the Unidad to engage, but so far it ignores the cartel, and only looks for Nomad.

Also, as I wait nearby, I'm getting both a random spawning as well as a de-spawning. These are single NPCs so far.

Here's something that's quite different from what others have posted - as soon as I get faction warfare going, or the SB guys go on alert for any reason - it's mission failure. While the assistant doesn't actually leave, that's the message - "target too far".

Okay, here's my screen shoot via drone of the empty building:

The two red dots in the middle of the building are actually outside, patrolling.

I had a similar issue with target too far if I used Rebel spotting on the main building, which ID’d the assistant... at that point, if I left a certain radius, it was instant mission failure.

I was finally able to complete this mission tonight by going loud.

I first used Sync shot x3 to clear the 9 snipers. Then I killed all the guys in the drive way using stealth.

Then it was time to go loud... I used a Armored Buggy to circle the building a couple times having my team kill as many bad guys as possible. As the vehicle health got depleted, I went back out down the driveway and spawned another Unidad buggy and then circled the building a couple more times. At this point another two truck loads of reinforcements showed up. (FML!). Then did the vehicle spawn and circumnavigation of the grounds a third time which finally cleared the grounds.

We then entered the building on foot and the assistant was conveniently on the ground floor making for an easy finish. We then cleared the last handful of Cartel still inside the building.

This is the most insane mission in the game to try and play loud. No doubt.

Finally got faction warfare working - didn't ID the assistant; either via rebel spotting or via drone into the building. Used EMP drone on Unidad helo and if it goes down close to any SB, then they seem to engage. If the helo's down in the woods for example, Unidad just stand there. Got one encounter, awaiting the next helo spawn to test again.

That’s awesome. I could occasionally get a faction war started, but the Cartel usually overwhelmed the Unidad quickly. And with just one Unidad alert level, there was no competition.

I have to wonder... of all the places in Bolivia, why did the Cartel put so many resources on this location?

Here's my screen shot of the enemies...

    By my count:

Not shown... 3 guys at the entrance on the drive way
On the Left side... 21 guys
On the right side... 9 guys
Snipers on roofs or in towers... 9 guys
In the far outpost... 7 guys plus 2 just north of the main building
In the main building... 33 guys

That's a total of 84 guys before reinforcements showed up!!! FFS!
