[Suggestion] Zoom out farther and ship view tracking

It would be REALLY useful to be able to zoom out farther when manually steering a ship around hostile islands, since the trade route function is currently very limited.

Also, it would be a great feature for the map to move and the ship to stay fixed at the back edge of the screen (giving as much view as possible in the direction ahead of it) to see what's up ahead without having to constantly shift the map when following the ship's course.

Select ship press, F1. Tell me if you like it

F1 is very nice, thank you! I have a lot to learn about function keys. Is there a document somewhere that lists all of them?

    1. Zoom out farther - go to r/anno on reddit and search for "Spice it Up v2.5". The package includes greatly increased zoom range (among many other cool stuff). Is this enough zoom for you?

    2. The ultimate thing to protect your cargo ships from attacks is the "White flag" you can buy from Isabel Sarmento:

It's pricey, but when you put in your ship you can forget about it - from this point no one will attack it.

Actually, I was looking to zoom the other direction so that I could see more land masses (enemy ships laying in wait). That white flag is definitely pricey but worth it!

You overlooked the link to the actual zoom-out example I posted:
