    Audio Issue PS4 Pro

    Dear developers.

I have a following issue with the game.

    • My gunfire sound loses about 90% about itself. The gun sounds like a sneeze.
    • A dialogue of electronic devices mutes.
    • A dialogue of commanders come from my controller instead of headphones.
    • Explosion sounds turn muddy.
    • The audio chat of the game goes off.

These issues come at the same time.
This happens randomly and I have no idea what causes this.
Some times the game is able to go back in normal, but usually, I need to reboot the game to fix this.
This is very annoying especially when I am playing a mission.

For your information to fix this bug:

I play on PS4 Pro like said in the title.
The console is plugged to a cable modem with a wire.
I use Playstations party to chat with my friend who is playing with me in our clan (because we don't trust the function of the clan chat).
This issue might be also on regular PS4 and other systems.

I hope you see this and fix it soon.
We really enjoy the game and so far it has been the best shooter of this year.

    Best regards,
    Jaakko

I don't think it's system specific. Seems to happen less frequently for me lately (PS4) but appears to be triggered when I throw a seeker then start firing immediately and the sound cuts out briefly. It normally comes back but occasionally get the same issues as you.

I lose my gunfire and other sounds every hr or 2. I rarely finish a raid with sound and it barely ever fixes itself for me. I was only losing it once every couple of days until episode 1 dropped but since then it's been a constant headache.

The Devs know of the Audio Issues issues. where as it it good to know what issues are cropping up. They are well aware there are issues still.

I have these issues every time I play the game, after about 3hours of game play. Only way to resolve it close the game and start it back up. It’s a rinse and repeat process every single time.

I’m sure it’s a memory leak for sound. The devs just need to start to play the game and make their own list of bugs that needs to be fixed. It’s obvious. I can make 4 pages of bugs after playing 8 hours

    Hello Agents,

Sorry to hear that. We have a few different issues reported back to the development team and they're being investigated and dealt with. Would be possible for you to provide us with short videos, so we can take a closer look and forward them to TD2 team? Thanks!

I can trigger the issue if I travel to one of the 3 new map Stations like camp white oak or the zoo!

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce it in my end, @jbdirty. Could you please provide us with a short video, so we can investigate what actions are you performing to trigger this bug? Thanks!

I got a lot of issues with sound on ps4 pro before last weeks maintenance, after that i had 0 issues and i play approx 5-8hours a day.

But most of my friends i play with who had these issues before still looses the sound after 5-10 minutes of playtime.

So it seerms really inconsistent so i guess that makes it a heck of a lot more difficult to pinpoint what it is that actually triggers the soundbug.
