For the first time in my time playing For Honor I was locked out of matchmaking. The previous match ended and I readied back up, but when the timer counted down to 01, it stayed there (red) and then just sat there for a long time before apparently timing out. I couldn't quit or do anything else to change matters, but now I'm locked out of matchmaking for 15 minutes? This is frustrating to say the least - I'd understand this if I did something wrong, ducking matches, quitting mid-game, etc... but I never do this.
Why am I being penalized here for something I have zero control over? I had other connectivity just fine and the NAT shows open.
Is this a common thing that others have experienced? I've never seen this before.
I'm sorry to hear that occurred for you, resok
These systems are automatic, and context is not taken into account, As such regardless of the reason you didn't connect it would see it as an abandonment.
In your situation I can certainly understand how frustrating that is, and I can pass your feedback on to the team.
