The problem though is not everyone can dodge and block well this is a small minor way to offset that but the amount of attacks and combos that actually do get hyper armor are too much. Less is best but none at all isn't fun at all.

Yes, lets **** hyperarmor ability almost entirely so heroes like Highlander and others who aren't OP/broken can eat a fat nerf. Heroes without HA are usually faster attacks who are more mobile. If HA only works on their lights then what, are you going to be predicting the enemy throws a heavy so you can try and cancel it with your own heavy? I doubt you'll be using your heavy attacks to cancel their heavies or anything. Unless it's Hito/Shug/Berserker I don't see how HA is a big deal on this game. We can ditch/nerf HA in general when all heroes are playing with 500-600MS attacks with similar mobility IMO.

The real fix should be on Hito/Shug/Zerk to have later activation on HA, and only on heavies. Keep chains no longer than 3 attacks, none of that continuous bulls#@#@. To take it further, make deflects unblockable and uninterruptable by the one being deflected. Very simple but they won't do it because bad players need crutch mechanics and Ubi doesn't like to fix problems without creating new ones.
