Give joining and bots who take over the appropriate amount of feats upon joining in. Why should we play a game already in progress then with a disadvantage due to lack of feats? Are you stupid? Do you take us for stupid? Ubisoft do you eat rocks and smell water? I think we all can be stupid but only so much stupid gets classified as a disorder. What identification are you?

Doesn't matter when the other team has both and you only have one. There should always be a benefit for joining a session you could actually waste time on only to lose and if you win you really don't get any benefit from playing in a on going session. Most join see that it's on going and just quit out. Why bother? An I don't blame them.
