I have been for the last 6 months trying to finish getting my last items from the Prestige Crates. Only to get the same duplicate items 3, 4 and 5 times in a row. I opened 65 Prestige crates only to get about 4 items that weren't a duplicate. It doesn't do any good to buy crates from the points earned on the challenge for me as it is basically all duplicates. My spec Ops crates and Ghost War crates are all done.

I honestly wished they could move them to the Spec Ops crates so I could get finished. This is pretty much what ruined it for me when they added all the Fornite stuff to this game to get more people to buy the game or play it more.

Emotes and voice lines were heavily requested by such big stars in the GRW community, like Mr. Firstname Lastname, and Guy McDude.

That is a whopping total of 116 items that I will never use in a game. Let alone all the people I play with have the same thoughts. Please rethink these items and have their own crates. This alone would have solved all the problems. Remember this is 6 months of me doing daily challenges and doing them every single day. Something needs to be done with these duplicate item drops over and over. (This is just my opinion and I'm being subjective.)

I now have about 35prestige crates from doing the challenges. I'm wondering how many duplicates everyone else is getting at this point. I know it will be different from player to player. As of right now, I currently have this many to get.

Yeah, at some point it becomes pointless to continue doing the daily challenges. I’m at that point with about 50 items left in the Prestige pool. The dupe rate is ridiculous. There’s nothing left I would actually equip or use, so I stopped doing daily challenges.

If you’re a completionist, it’s going to be the grind of all grinds. My advice is to buy every pack in the store with your dupe credits, even if there’s only one unwanted item in that pack you don’t already have. That’s the fastest way to chip away at getting everything.

As of yesterday I had 20 items remaining from prestige crates.
After opening 56 prestige crates I’ve now only 17 items to go so 53 were all duplicates :/
Have to admit the grind is getting to me.

That makes me feel a little better now. I thought it was just me having bad luck over and over. I just wanted to get all of them and be done with it. But the duplicates is beating up on my pretty bad at this point. I will keep grinding though. But after this length of time, it is starting to get more annoying than rewarding. It is what it is though. Thanks for the feedback as now I know that I'm not alone.

There are over 500 items in the Prestige Crate pool, so if you have 50 left, the chance of a non-duplicate is only 1 in 10. So if you open 100 crates, you can expect about 90 duplicates on average. By extension you will need to open hundreds of crates to get any significant new stuff.

the only advantage to all the duplicate items is that they give you free credits to use in the online store - but it's getting close to the stage where most people have unlocked everything from the store and the crates.

I got bored and opened 135 prestige crates.

Or 67 items to 35.
It is probably time to buy a few things now. I was getting like the same item 5 - 10 times in a row over and over.

I used my vast duplicate treasure to buy all store packs except SWAT icons and a few packs with patches missing from crates. In a month or 2, their price will also say "owned"
Been fairly lucky so far, but I will say this ... x10 crate batches should guarantee at least one new item, if there's anything left.
There's more to drop chance than simple 1 in 10. Enough for a megathread probably.

I got bored and bought everything the store had listed except the 2-year pass. I had a ton of credits left and nothing else to do with them anyway. The ending results were.

I figured that was pretty close to getting everything. Shut down the game and got something to eat and came back to mess around. Went back to look at my results and it changed to this.

I about fell out. Verified the game files and still have the last one showing. Yet the store shows everything is owned except the 2-year pass.

When you buy stuff from the store, number of remaining items in prestige crates don't take into account owned items, leading to double counting. Number(s) go back to their actual after 15-20 mins or longer sometimes, depending on how busy the store and ghost recon network are.

Unless you closed the game too quickly and your new goodies didn't sync.
Prestige crates have a lot more than it's listed on the store. Most voice lines/emotes/victory posses, a few weapons, vehicles, face paints and more can only be unlocked that way.
