So i've been looking to pick him up for quite a while but for the death of me i cant figure him out. His light chains are useless, that much we all know. But in my level of play (which i think is somewhere slightly above average) toe stab is very hard to pull off as well. Skewer is also mostly best to not let go as thats another HIGHLY telegraphed move, i only let it go if im 100% sure the opponent wont see it coming which most of the time is not the case when facing experienced players. I guess his deflect is good but im not really all that used to deflects given the fact that i rarely play any assasins.
To me it seems that at least the toe stab should receive a buff, its an actual threat when u got the enemy out of stamina but other than that its mostly useless. Extremely low stamina drain, next to no damage and if im facing more experienced players it doesnt really matter what i try: bash>heavy feint> toe stab, bash> toe stab, bash> light> toe stab or pretty much every possible variation... The move is so ******* slow that most of the players will dodge it with no problems whatsoever
Its crazy how just a while ago i thought LB was useless as a duelist and now he's my best one, 200 times better than i am with Glad. I understand that there might be a rework coming soon for him but i would like to hear some tips n tricks from some of the Glad mains here, how do you compete against the better characters with his lackluster of a kit?
Afterall, i've noticed that i draw myself towards the weaker heroes cuz i love challenge. I had tons of fun with Shugo before he got his rework and now im hoping to learn Glad as he seems like a run character, just needs some fine tuning.
