If you have the game on Epic Games, you won't be using Uplay for verifying game files or starting your game. Uplay should only pop up after you launch from Epic Games.

In your case specifically I don't see For Honor on your account. This could definitely be your issue! Please send me a PM with your Epic Games username, and I'll try to find the right account for you.

I don't use any other client except uPlay for For Honor; and have been receiving similar issues to others in this thread. I've opened a support case already (09531614) - Wondering if my issue is related to others' issues here as it's the exact same except I don't have the Epic Games store and didn't use any digital store to purchase For Honor.

Are you able to set up the file location for ForHonor.exe when starting the game in Uplay?

Can't speak for anyone else, however I am able to do so, yes. I've attempted uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times and have never had a problem choosing where to install. The download itself was what cut out (I purchased a physical copy way back when the game first launched - Even installing via disc and attempting to download the update hasn't worked).

At the moment my download appears to be working however it's roughly the 15th or 16th time I've re-downloaded and I haven't hit the dreaded 20-30% mark so can't say if it's working properly again.

Thanks Gabrinth, game has managed to download - Now it's permanently stuck "Installing Game Content". Support team just replied to my ticket but haven't fixed it yet. More than a little frustrated atm since I'm back to the issue I had before I tried to reinstall and found the reinstall issue. Now I have reinstalled and I still can't play the game -_-

I'm super sorry to hear you're having continued issues getting For Honor started! This may be a permissions issues, so please make sure Uplay is running as administrator. Please also make sure you have the latest version of Uplay installed.

Thanks again, I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look at my ticket (09531614) - Been two weeks (and multiple re-downloads of both uPlay and For Honor) and support staff haven't really tended to it much.. also for absolutely no apparent reason the game has docked me about 35 or so rep levels, which I'm kind of convinced is connected to my current issue.

    Hey,

What happens when you try to install the game from another Admin windows profile?
