The fact that you said that the Shinobi's backflip is better now just shows that you have no idea what you are talking about and that you are not even a Shinobi player.
Your feedback has no credibility on this topic and is therefore meaningless.

You're obviously just an another Anti-Shinobi player in which case you only view the Nerf patch as a benefit, there is no point in even debating with someone like you about the physics of why the Shinobi is no longer viable because no matter what the circumstance is you would obviously support any nerf against this hero.

Everything you've said thus far is completely disingenuous because you have failed to acknowledge even a single one of the significant problems that the Nerf Hammer caused in the latest patch. If you're going to pretend to be an expert on Shinobi balancing, you should at least have the decency to admit when a Nerf is overkill.

Goat of Vermund was at least credible with his feedback even though I consider him to be Anti-Shinobi as well. But you on the other hand offer nothing trustworthy for me to consider since your Devil's Advocate approach has revealed your true colors as being only interested in keeping the Shinobi in it's current useless state without acknowledging any of the problems.

No Shinobi player in their right mind would say that the backflip is better no matter what their playstyle is, because that would be a bold faced lie. The Backflip has become just another liability on top of everything else.

Op the super armor kick was all any shinobi would do. From noob to advanced that's all they would do on console. And why wouldn't they. It was easily overpowered and there was no way to stop them. Turtle up, 15 ft game, and kick. That's all I've ever seen. Once it gets you out of stamina is when the shinobi decides to actually fight you.

I question your skill level if you claim the kick was overpowered, considering how easy it has always been to dodge. Even Freeze stated in his Youtube videos that the kick was utterly useless for offensive purposes because it was highly telegraphed and gave everyone plenty of time to react to it. Only a noob would struggle against that slow kick.

Only a noob? the fact is it was very difficult to punish on dodge with many charaacters so it was safe for shinobi. They would do it 20 times till 1 landed, do some damage, then do it another 20 times, and do nothing else. Its a good change and the kit has been adjusted to compensate. If you cant make shinobi work without the HA on kick & backflip them thats on you, the tools are there (just not one very easy to rise & repeat safe move) if you are at the skill level your trying to say you are

Being difficult to punish does not make something overpowered if it cannot be used effectively for offense in the first place. The kick drained a lot of stamina so the Shinobi was not able to spam it to begin with. The kick was extremely easy to dodge, so it doesn't need to be easy to punish because it's already easy to react to. Every hero in the game was moves that are difficult to punish, so your point is irrelevant. Only a noob would have difficulty dodging the kick.

It is also not true that the kick is unpunishable, because it required using the double dash which was easily guard broken. If you are not close enough to GB the double dash before the kick even starts, then the kick isn't close enough to hit you to begin with. Only noobs think the kick is safe because they fail to GB the double dash. Besides, if a Shinobi launches a kick that you easily dodge, the result is that they lose a lot of stamina which was already enough punishment.

Assassins don't need/ shouldn't have hyper armor anyway.

There is a big difference between "should not need" and "do not need."

With the way the game is designed, Assassins DO need a way to counteract heroes that are stocked with Hyper Armor. Especially since low health heroes like Shinobi cannot afford to trade blows.

Even Heavy heroes these days can light attack as fast as Assassins which makes it extremely difficult to deflect or parry, so the term "Assassin" in this game no longer has any meaning because they don't have enough characteristics that set them apart.

The Shinobi doesn't even have a dodge attack like the Orochi, so he gets out-zoned by Kensei and other heroes that do have dodge attacks; especially since the backflip was nerfed into the ground in the latest patch. At this point, Assassins are simply weaker versions of harder-hitting heroes.
