I bought the gold version of rainbow six siege epic games launcher and I can not even start the game because I am told "

With rayman legends. Bought in promo on the epic store.
it kicks the uplay auth launcher and then just drop the same message.

Any fix ?

For the couple people having the issue with Rayman Legends, try verifying the game's files through the UPlay Launcher. That got it to work for me just now.

for me, with rayman legends, i had to go into the epic game library and click the game to "link" the account with ubisoft. after that, was able to launch it fine.
