Problem Logging in Via Epic Games Launcher | Forums

I am facing the same problem and have been trying for 3 hrs, maybe more.(i don't use a vpn)

Since watch dogs 2 came out on epic games I wanted to get it to try out the game and etc.. But when the game finished downloading I opened it and a uplay screen comes up asking me to log in. So I put the login I have for the other uplay games I have, (Rainbow 6) when I try logging in though it says "An epic games service is unavailble at the moment. please try again later" so I tried 2 hours later then a whole day later and it still doesn't work. I would really like to try the game so if there is any fix please tell me!

Sorry to hear that you are unable to connect to Epic Launcher.

This error code doesn't appear to be one of ours, rather it seems to related to the Epic Launcher itself.

Epic does have a Support Guide on this error code I'd advise you look at to see if any steps there resolve your issue.

If the issue persists, I'd advise reaching out to Epic Support for further assistance.

As my colleague said, if the code appears to be an Epic error code, we would advise you to contact Epic themselves.

Im having the same exact issue and I'm about to return this game and NEVER buy a game that requires POS Uplay to run. YOU GUYS REALLY ARE JUST COMPLETE SCUMBAGS I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT, YOUR LAUNCHER IS THE BIGGEST POS since the Rockstar launcher, which is another company that is filled with garbage people. Do you think anyone is going to actually buy games from your POS launcher? LOL For the amount of trouble it causes is it really worth it? Because this is so aggravating and time-consuming as a customer it really makes me want to avoid any game your company makes. STOP BEING SCUMBAGS ITS NOT THAT HARD TO DO.

You're sorry? If you guys were sorry you wouldn't have this launcher to begin with. Lemme tell you, you guys are doing so much damage to the PC gaming community. All of us are so excited for the future where we all have 500 individual game launchers for each and every game we own because you mutants just need to advertise and squeeze every nickel out of us regardless of whether or not it genuinely ruins so many OF YOUR CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCES! What ruined everything is the recquired connexion. I can't launch my game bought on other plateform, as it's need to connect to Ubi services and there are malfunctions.

That's exactly what prevent me from buying ubi games until recently. I wasnt wrong. There are plenty of games outhere, it wont be missed.
