Hi Ubi support
Sorry i meant to post this some time back about this issue of the key binding in default setting with map/mission difficulty setting where the matchmaking and mission difficulty have the same key binding setting as both have the letter "G" one should be "G" and the other what ever it should be, and unsure if it's just a bug with my settings or a mainline bug in the game and is annoying.
Below is a link to a screenshot picture of the map mission select and as seen in the bottom left you can see the five option selections and the two with the same assigned action key as shown in default settings

Yes i am using default keys settings, it's just that i'm pointing out that these two actions when using the map and at mission selecting the matchmaking and difficulty keys have the same key bind and when selecting difficulty i get matchmaking and this bug or error has been there from day of release, and though i do not use this method of key action anymore as it's annoyingly stupid, i see the is a schoolboy error in developers programming.
I'm a solo player and this kind of bug/error can get me or likewise player into a game play we do not want to be in.
Thanks for that info! To clarify, when you are holding the button down it is putting you in matchmaking? I will have to double-check with my game, but I can't remember if they are the same keybind for me. What kind of keyboard layout do you use? There were previous issues relating to certain keyboard layouts.

Matchmaking has "G" and Difficulty has "G" pressing one get the other and visa versa they should not have the same key bind and when i first found this out was a while ago i do the difficulty another way, i do not use the map method anymore.
Sorry to say this but it's the truth, the more you fail to see what i and others post and keep asking lame questions when the evidence is there is just showing us how Ubisoft, Massive, and the Developers how much you all don't give a fig about the game, you all don't care about the bugs, issues, and the bad reputation because no fixes are getting done as long as you can screw as much money out of the players.
Well new for you all with all the above will lose you all more money than just fixing the damn game we all were lied about from the stat, just see what is happening to EA Games and bethesda when they screwed over their gamer's with broken games, money extortion and the big fat lies and Ubisoft is going the same way
Lies about games content and what fixes were fixed but never ever get fixed will lose gamer's and a loss of gamer's means a loss of revenue and trust in the gaming community like the two companies mentioned above.
I completely understand that they are bound to the same button. The information I was asking was if you were to hold G down, does it put you into matchmaking or change the difficulty? I have reached out to the TD team regarding the overlapping binding, but I wanted to clarify that if you were to hold the button, does it function like it says it should or does it not listen to the input. I apologize for any frustration or if I was not clear enough in my question. This info is important when creating a report so the team can understand what is being reported and try to replicate it themselves.Matchmaking has "G" and Difficulty has "G" pressing one get the other and visa versa they should not have the same key bind and when i first found this out was a while ago i do the difficulty another way, i do not use the map method anymore.

That symbol indicates that you must press and hold down the key to perform the action.
Holding down a key/button is often referred to as a "long press", as opposed to the standard "short press".
So...
To begin matchmaking, you can "short press" the "G" key as usual.
To change difficulty, you can "long press" the "G" key instead by holding it down.
@UbiSailorScout was only trying to determine if you had experienced some kind of bug when holding down the key/button.
What happens if you press and hold the "G" key as intended?
Does it correctly open the difficulty settings, or does it incorrectly start matchmaking instead?
