Deconstruction of selected junk item actually deconstructed my Exotic!! please help

Was finishing Kenly run and looting my diamondback when my inventory filled. I equipped the diamondback sending my chatterbox back into inventory. I then scrolled all the way to the bottom of my weapon inventory to my two purple low GS loot weapons I had just collected to deconstruct them. Upon deconstructing the highlighted trash item I was awarded an exotic shard and it deconstructed my chatterbox instead of the highlighted low grade trash weapon.

Seriously this is not the kind of bugs that should even be occurring. Stopped playing this game months ago because of bugs/issues but came back because of how much was supposedly fixed and not even 24hrs later one of my most used weapons is now gone.

I seriously hope you all can replace it cause if not I’ll never buy or play another Ubisoft game as this release has been only mildly less pathetic then BethSofts FO76 pathetic release and has become a pattern for Ubi games.

Don’t be stupid. Players shouldn’t need to spend potentially weeks farming keys and RNG chests to replace items lost because of poor programming/bugs. There’s a big difference between someone not getting some apparel drop or unable to loot a damn collectible or drop than decinstructing a trash P900 and having your favorited exotics you’ve had for months
being deconstructed. Especially when favorited items are flagged to warn before you take such actions inadvertently and this issue didn’t even kick the warning flag.

For how much you whined over simply using damn keys to get no loot from the same exotics chests, not getting exotic parts fast enough , year 1 not sharing to all your accounts etc back shortly after launch your response is moronic at best.

Please remain civil. Calling others moronic or stupid can result in an infraction, as it's against our forum rules. Do you have any video of the event where your exotic was deconstructed. I will have the team look into this if there's a way to deconstruct an item that isn't selected. Please note that you cannot deconstruct favorited items.

Unfortunately I do not have video Gabrinth. And yeah the warning text I was thinking of is from recalibrate using favorited items.

The issue seems to stem from deconstructing while looting. Meaning that if full while looting and you open inventory from the loot window (R stick) the inventory list is glitching at the bottom. When you reach the final item in your list it will actually cause a flicker when highlighting last item. It appears if you are clicking through fast and start deconstruction at that point it is not registering the item appropriately.

Don’t recall that flash/flicker ever happening in the past. Nor have I ever had a high end or GS500 item at the top of my inventory randomly deconstruct instead of a GS490 purple rarity from the bottom of my list.
At the time there was at least 20 weapons in my inventory between the one selected and the one that actually deconstructed.
