    Kensei Changes

    First off I don’t play Kensei. I pull him out for orders only. Now let’s begin.
    I tried him out and found him so mix up able that I 3-0 a Shaolin with over 20 reps in that character then did the same to a overall rep 41 Shugoki. The character is amazing and his changes just made him more so. Before the balance in ranked Kensei was the unspoken go to once you reached a certain level and I’m a Platinum when I do play ranked. Now he may be unstoppable when playing someone who knows all his combos. He is what shaman is a perfectly balanced character that all characters should be compared too. I believe Raider is a failed attempt at this balancing even now. The only negative for him is that his dash side heavies are spammer go to and the damage on them should be slightly reduced or the stamina cost should be raised when someone continuously does the move.

    He can be overwhelming when you aren’t in try hard mode because he literally can be doing any of his moves which does make you more defensive when fighting him though.

    Questions: Lawbringer Changes

    Hello again by now you’ve seen me pop up a lot here. I was thinking about my previous message on LB which I stand by but a few things have come to my mind.
    Why did you increase the side heavy speed when his top heavy was always slower yet more important to use?
    His combos are heavy focused yet his stamina has no boosts or synergy to help him continue his attack like for instance Gladiator why is that?
    To say he is a Heavy/Vanguard mix his feats are Heavy oriented when a feat like Kensei stamina focused ones would help him immensely so why does Harsh Judgement(Great name) which does next to nothing in battles still remain?
    If LB is a counterattacker why isn’t he considered a one on one specialist as well especially since his stamina favors defensive play with short bursts of intense offense?

    A Hybrid should embody both classes yet not be better in either of the classes than people of that class but synergize. Do you believe the hybrids in the game more specifically LB do this?

    Side note: It was once said on the Warriors Den that we need to learn how to play him but was any info given to explain that statement?

    Kensei changes

    I main kensei since the beginning and I feel like the damage nerf was unnecessary. I find myself never doing enough damage before running out of stamina. And stamina regen is to slow. I never rely on my zone attack even when in group fights. I don't think dodge heavy is OP infect it is extremely punishable. I think kensei was the most rounded character before this last patch.

    Balancing Opinions

    I’m writing this to spotlight some flaws in peoples thought processes. The reduction on Shugoki healing is a good thing. Not too much or too little. Some guy posted Shugoki does no damage which is absurd and shows his bias. I don’t understand how people just want a OP character. They’ve done this with Raider and Shugoki. Kensei damage changes are good as well as well as he has the best stamina pool to work yet people complain about user faults. Ubi your doing better so keep improving.
    Also balance Raider again lol. Too much damage still

    I don’t know exactly how you would fix this but I’m mad tired of not winning 70% of 1v1 ranked because people pick the fastest characters in the game and parry the entire time to get the free hit or just rename your game to “PARRY SIMULATOR 2019” would probably be a lot more accurate title

    -increase maximum stamina for all characters
    -attacking and feinting should cost less stamina
    -blocking attacks should drain stamina
    -chip damage should be lethal

    And give the characters more unique stuff again. Like Shugoki's old passive armour or Raider's dodge gb or even Aramusha's 400ms neutral dodges. You're standardising too much which makes fighting more and more boring. I basically just need more uniqueness.
    Yes I know that some unique features of a character were a bit overwhelming sometimes but that doesn't mean you have to remove them completely. Modifying those features would've been a great possibility to test them on the testing grounds.

    I love your game, there's no other like it.
    Let's get started,
    Hitokiri forces you to play turtle, did you realize that? I'm asking because you've done a lot of change to open up the turtle meta. If he's got the momentum, you have to wait for a parry or dodge his super weird hook kick. Seriously, what's the timing on that thing? I've been kicked so many times mid dodge it's insane. The tracking on his charged heavy and kick makes him slide twice the length of his axe to hit you. Like you're punishing me for dodging it! Two hits can't interrupt his heavy... Why? Because I'm supposed to turtle up? See where I'm going? 😐

    Hulda... Boy...
    Now that I know I can't switch guard after blocking a light if I want to dodge the gut punch it's fine. Except it isn't, I can't punish it cause she can punch me from neutral with 0 recovery before I land my guard break. Having a stamina depletion specialist is not a bad idea. She's just overtuned the $#& out.

    Shugoki is pretty cool now. I'd like to see the data though... He's so hard to kill it's horrible. Takes 3 guys. His charged heavy into embrace must land a whole lot I bet. What's the data on that? I think he should not be able to softfeint the charged heavy, just regular heavy. It puts you back in this turtle position I talked earlier. You can't be aggressive he'll just trade you for days... Then heal from embrace!

    Black prior kit is fine but it's to safe. Bulkward stance on block without recovery is muh... They parry highlander heavy after a kick?!!? Many... Many times this happened... I was mad.

    Raider soft feint tap must be the fastest crap I've ever seen it's quite annoying that he can spam such a move. He also has every thing. Unblockable from neutral that you can feint and softfeint. He's a tank... Dps and cc at the same time. Great side dodge punish. Everything lol.

    Again, great game though. I love it. It also makes me bash my head against the wall at times.

    Testing ground was a great idea. Good job

    I think stamina is fine. But I agree on uniqueness. Also some Vanguard hit harder than heavies. Same for assassin. Why?
