Most brand sets currently consist of only three items. Agent Pillow'sCoolside thiinks every brand set should consist of six items but still wants the bonuses based on one, two, and three items (no change to the bonus system; the change is that all sets would consist of six items).
Current system complicates putting together builds based on brand set bonuses. For example, I want this brand set bonus but to get it I have to ditch the holster that is giving me this other brand set bonus since both sets are only three-piece sets and both sets include holsters..... I have to choose which of the three-set bonuses is more important to me. It's a delicious complication that forces players to make trade offs rather than min-maxing perfect sets. The proposed change would pretty much do away with any compromising trade offs.
I would really appreciate if they added a small hud indicator in each piece so you know what pieces the brand has, something like adding the 6 indicators of gear pieces (gloves, masks and so on) white if that brand has it, grey if it doesn't. At least a person will know if they should keep an eye out for a mask they need or holsters from a certain brand
I think this is like a WILDCARD gear that goes along with any brands.Originally Posted by PillowsCoolside Go to original post
Not 6, but 4 pieces will be better. So, when more exotic gear will be added, some brands won't be locked (i mean, 3-pc bonus, like R&K with Dodge city holster, for example).
As for gear sets, i think 4pc instead of 6pc will be cool (i mean, lower their lvl bonuses, so all passives will be at 2 pieces and 5/6 + 6/6 will be at 4 pieces). Also, all gear sets should have larger atribute pool and always roll with additional non-standart stat, like +30% grenade dmg (i have one on my OD chest).
Unless they make certain missions drop certain brands or certain parts of gearOriginally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
This would help a lot, but AFAIK there are some issues with some of the real-life brands only making certain pieces in real life, so they would need permission of the respective brands in order to invent some fantasy pieces. (Maybe quickest way is to add another fantasy set with the same specs for the missing pieces)
Thanks for clarifying my post. 👍Originally Posted by elkyri Go to original post
