Dear Mr. Ubisoft!

You release a new hero that eats stamina for breakfast, lunch and dinner while at the same time you nerf the hero whose description says "STAMINA REGENERATOR".

I think a 45% range reduction on Sifu's Poise was too extreme. I get that the move was a bit safe. However, you've now rendered it useless. The point of balance is to counterbalance with equal force.

Perhaps at 25 - 30% range reduction might've been a better solution.

Have you play-tested the character at all before releasing this patch? The STAMINA REGENERATOR cannot counter the STAMINA DRAINER because his one move that was good, is now useless.

Furthermore, I might like to add that at mid to top skill tier fights, the sifu's poise was never really that safe of a move against players because unlike Nobushi's hidden stance, Jiang Jun was vulnerable to Guard Break as soon as he used it. So my question to you is, why did you not also reduce the range of Nobushi's Hidden Stance? Sifu's Poise is supposed to have dodge frames, but with this change, the dodge frames have become ineffective.

I understand that you want to make the character viable as a opponent against low tier players and not only mid/ top tier players. However, the reality is we cannot accommodate everyone and even the mid/ top tier players started at low tier players and worked their way to mid/ top tier. So, the low tier players will just have to do the same and work their way to the top.

Rather than constantly attempting to accommodate the low tier players perhaps you should consider alternative solutions such as in-game incentives for mid/ top tier players to teach low tier players? Yes, I am talking about a mentor system that would reward both the mentor and the student with steel and experience.


This would get rid of the Casual vs Top 1% mentality that is currently plaguing your game.
