I don't care how they did 'something', I care what they're doing to the 'something' they clearly messed up. (Based on the majority of people's views on this very forum)

Of all those things you say you have disagreed with or 'criticized', how many of them concerns can you say you have had sufficient info from UBI that makes you understand why they have done what they have done, or are reviewing to implement better? (Bar the AI teammates, which they will just copy paste the majority of it straight from the dumb wildlands AI)

P.s. I won't accept anything other than NONE as an answer.
I dont care what you'll accept. I have discussed every issue personally with them and in written reports that are under NDA.

I don't have to justify myself to you, so I wont be boring everyone else with more answers to your trolling attacks. Enjoy CoD, but maybe mute yourself so everyone else in your lobby has a better experience.

See, the problem is that with such a late reveal, everything just seems concentrated, including the frustration. With Wildlands, the game had been revealed 21 months before launch, and the community had that time to absorb and give feedback from all the trailers and gameplay that was shown, over that time. Everything wasn't required all at once, and it wasn't expected either. So if the devs went radio silent for a few months, it wasn't as big of a deal, because they still released a lot of info, for us to go over. In fact I just found a trailer, that I had never seen before, from 2016.

^ I agree. Revealing the game with such a tight release window was not a good idea. If you’re going to do something like this you better know for sure the community will be down with whatever it is your pushing.

Plus, it greatly cut down on the time that our feedback had to affect the direction of the game, during the development process. For example, if their intent to make the game a lone wolf experience for solo players, had been revealed last year, they would have had the time to add the AI teammates at launch. aFTER ALL, it only took a few weeks, between the reveal and E3, for them to backpedal on that design decision, because of player feedback. It would have also given them enough time to rethink the whole tiered loot system.

I doubt they'll have had time to work on squad AI mechanics tho, might just be what we had in GRW due to lack of time for implementation and testing.

As for tiered loot, they just need to switch it to tiered attachments rather than weapons, with perks commensurate with the type of attachment and weapons without attachments being the baseline. Would put emphasis back onto the gunsmith and would be a good compromise. Again though it's going to be pretty baked in so that will be quite a deep mechanic to unpick in the timescale. I'm warming to it though, as long as its done in an appropriate way and perks are meaningful for the specific gear or weapon.

Ahhh - good memories! Besides, that trailer makes me wonder: whom of you ever used the flaregun? I didn't, to be honest.

Which is an excellent point. The time frame is too condensed for my liking, and a fairly obvious mistake such as the AI team could have been avoided with an earlier discussion about leaving them out.

    I agree.

.....but I can't help but think of the plethora of feedback we have already provided as part of the GRW community over the 2+ years. There was a lot there to tap into and quite frankly, they could have avoided some of these mistakes and grief by paying attention to what I thought were pretty obvious indicators as to what the community really wanted in a sequel.

I'm not saying they don't listen but I do think they tend to miss the mark. Now whether that's deliberate by choice or a misunderstanding of what the community wants, i really don't know but that's how I feel about the paths and decisions Ubi makes sometimes.

I did. It was a great way to huddle enemies in one spot where you can then mortar, frag, c4, mine, diversion, etc.

I hardly used the diversion lures.
