Whoa... really? The game play footage I’ve seen seems to show minimal bullet drop from sniper rifles... are you saying there are other factors at play?

But they weren't going to say so, until they knew that it could get it working, even if it was delayed.

Too bad we will never know just how much different the post launch PVE experience could have been, if their focus hadn't been divided.
That's not true. Just because PvP was released late(6 month delay) doesn't mean the game was meant for PvE only. Thats like saying The Crew 2 was meant for PvE only because it too delayed for 6 months to launch PvP. The answer was there wasn't that many developers working on Wildlands compared to the 1000+ for GRB.

Red Storm Entertainment who I believe was in charge for GRFS wasn't involved in GRW and was working on TD1. Can't say why Red Storm Entertainment wasn't involved in the PvP cause they PvP is always on point imo. Obviously. GRW had to get another team possibly new to give us the Ghost War we seen today.

I can remember they mentioned early on if not at launch that they are implementing PvP later. So it seems it was planned since the very beginning.

Except Ubi didn't even confirm that there was even going to be a PVP mode, until just days before the game launched, on March 2nd 2017, and even then, theyt didn't have a launch date. They may very well have intended to have PVP, when the game started the development process, but at some point, it was put on the back burner, and forgotten. It was likely only the outcry from the community, and demands for PVP, that forced them to start work on it again. Similar to how community outcry, has made them rethink the whole AI squad debacle.

They may well have had concerns about it, principally in my view due to the amount of players the engine as configured can handle, but it was always being worked on. Bucharest didn't drop it and start again, it was simply a matter of when the go/no-go decision was to be made. In the end I believe they were so keen to ensure PvP got in, that they gave the mode an extension to be ready.

The community game nights are a step in the right direction but they not rarely drop any news or use it to gauge the community reactions.

Here is the thing: Most things in Ghost Recon so far have only been controversies due to Ubisofts lack of communication. Usually, answers are in one-sentence lines only. This was true in Wildlands. It looks like its going to be true in Breakpoint. Just explain things and why you do them your way. I promise you the community will have your back - look at Rainbow Six Siege. The decisions put forth by their comm dev team is not always popular but they are explained and anchored in the community so they comm dev teams are respected in turn. There is no way you cannot do the same thing, esp not with the Delta Operators program able to give you a lot more detailed on the grounds feedback.

So please, start talking to us. The community is your asset. We are the ones who will be playing the game, streaming it, encouraging friends to get it - if the game is good enough.
I think the team understand that they need to feed the community with details on updated DLC,PVE, PVP, Content etc.
I believe thats where Delta Company will come into play.
So they did listen to us when we suggested more interaction and less radio silence.
Ghost Recon is in good hands.

Except we've yet to it put into practice. The dev team have been just as secretive as before, if not more so.

Have you heard from Delta Company yet? No? Then, no, they haven't listened yet. They have yet to offer more interaction and less radio silence. We're less than 3 months away from launch and we still have barely any communication.

Is anyone here actually in Delta Company?

    Has anything happened with it?

Well seeing as ITK5 is in the video for Delta Company, then I think you guys can assume he has heard and that he does have a little insight on this.

This wasn't going to be set up without a few weeks of applications and selection, but I do recognise that the feedback to applicants could improve, after some messages I have received. I have raised this as a concern.
