so, shinobi's backflip is now super short. Any reason why?

Is it a bug? It wasn't added into the patch list, so either the team completely ignored this bug and still pushed the shinobi change, or this was intended, and it wasn't added to the patch notes on purpose. Either way it doesn't look good for the game.

They nerfed his back flip range and everything you can think of tbh

Yes I know that, that's why I made the post. I want to know WHY they made the change, and why it wasn't put in the patch notes.

The mentioned it before. The back flip was way to safe and some abused it because you could get 2 lights or whiff a DD kick and you couldn't get punished for it

But unpunishable moves aren't anything new to the game. Look at LB's shove for an example. The backflip exists as a tool to escape. If they make it punishable, they might as well delete it.

They gradually nerfed Shinobi into the ground...he is by far the easiest to kill...its like a free kill mark...

That’s not actually true. Shinobi is actually in a better place now due to his back flip. Sure it may not make you as far back. But it has a shorter animation. Meaning it becomes almost a free deflect if the enemy tries to punish you. Unlike before people would not try to heavy you, but now since they assume they can hit you ... bam... now your behind them with a deflect and a GB.

Shinobi’s block is now better making him not glitch out when trying to change zones,

In regard to his kick, it is good it got nerfed. It was a useless mechanic that resulted in unwanted griefing and just turtling. Now that’s not gonna be the case. It forces ppl to use his entire kit. Likewise due to the shortening of cGB it makes it much easier to pull of most shinobi combos. Which greatly reduced the risk of using his lGB.

Hence forth I see it as a positive. It would be better if they however manage data to fix HA as well.

Or just remove HA in general
the game would of been better without it tbh
it just makes it worse when your being punished
for trying to stop someone's combo sure there are bashes
which are a more smarter way to play
unless it's spammable then not so smart
in which happens too often Hulda has
also been accused in game by most as
both a hyperarmor only mindset and bash spammy character
especially since the bash always connects when you successfully hit the light or parry
even if I try to dodge it always connects in my opinion bashes should have a cooldown or
be put as a heavy combo exclusive and just delete hyperarmor period that way bashes
will not be spammable and people can have fun knowing they can actually attack without being traded
    via HA

How is LB's shove unpunishable? Do you mean after a landed heavy attack?
