    Server connection

Hello, I'm sorry to take your time with such questions, but I just wanted to ask one question regarding the server component of the game. For a long time, I heard that the PVP part was transferred to dedicated servers, but when creating a group for playing with friends, you still need to forward the UDP port. I know how to do this and easily forwarded the desired port, the NAT text color changed from red to green, I have no more problems. My question is why do I still need to forward ports if I don’t need to do this with a dedicated server? Does the group system work through peer-to-peer?

    P.S. Just wondering.

    Hey Flone_,

The Port Forwarding is something that is advised for all issues with connectivity, if you had Strict NAT that can impact your ability to not only join matches and play online, but to join parties of friends.
