Sooo Fun lasted for first couple of weeks and after that you were forcing yourself to play or what? Or you waited for a couple of months to write this comment?Originally Posted by jmart83 Go to original post

Yeah, I just don't get the guys that binge-play through the game then the new content then sit back and complain about nothing new to do. It is about pacing.Originally Posted by Sentinel-_-EU Go to original post

That much is certainly true, and always will be in my case because of my pacing. But I've been playing since release and the game menu tells me I have done just over half of the side missions so in my case still haven't run out of things new to me.Originally Posted by NvTwist74 Go to original post
Yeah, ^ that. I'll bet most folks hit "the wall" at about the same number of game-hours. The difference is some people rack those hours up in a few weeks or a couple of months while others take several months, if not a full year.Originally Posted by Dyslexic-Snail Go to original post
On a side note, my observation is that the binge-playing-through-new-content gamers and hardcore gamers (aka addicts) think of themselves as "the player base." I think they have that completely wrong and the "filthy casuals" represent a much larger percentage of the player base than they imagine.
Amen.Almost everything is fun in moderation.
You're right, but get this, it's called "Gaming Disorder". It's not labeled as an addiction because of how overly emotional gamers are and because of the precedent it would set.Originally Posted by Dyslexic-Snail Go to original post
If the psychological community (which needs a freggin lobotomy imo) were to label it as an addiction, then guess what else would come under fire? Youtube addiction, social media addiction, etc. We already know people are addicted to those things, but the last thing the corporate oligarchy wants, is to have those things covered under insurance.
On one hand, we in the psychological community promote safe spaces, antidepressants unproven to work for the masses, and being emotionally abused by a cop because you were speeding, but yet, when it comes treatment, our recommendations are pandering. That's it. The flag offends you? You're justified, Murcia bad. Some dude has jock itch and is manspreading? How dare he. You want to identify as a tree? You are strong and courageous like a branch bending in the wind. Too lazy to write that paper in college because you put it off til finals week? There, there...we'll pass you with a D. Dodgeball promotes violence, and nurture trumps all nature, despite the scientific evidence. Anyways, I digress.
Elkyri nothing wrong at all with taking the time time to enjoy content instead of getting to tier 5 as soon as possible like many others have done. I took hella time & refused to advance to Tier 1 until every mission, side missions were completed and turned the entire map except last stronghold, then I advanced.
Adding to that hadnt watched any videos on how to do anything unless I was completely stuck. I still haven’t watched a single build video. Why people watch videos before playing them first I’ll never understand. You strip yourself of the experience, all surprises & the feeling of achievement.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the amount of delusional entitlement it takes to bring a person to a forum to announce they are quitting. That is Trump level ego. No one cares. No one ever will. Even your friends who play don't care. Jesus doesn't care. That grumpy cat doesn't care. Gordon Ramsay doesn't care. Godzilla doesn't care. That lizard from the Geico commercials doesn't care. Yosemity Sam doesn't care. Billy Idol doesn't care. Quinten Tarentino doesn't care. Pete Rose doesn't care. Chef Boy Rd doesn't care.
No.
One.
Cares.
Not sure anyone cares about your comment eitherOriginally Posted by Shango_Agi Go to original postlol

Check and mate.
I pushed through what I could. Waiting for title updates brought hope for improvement. I was hoping with update 5 things would be better but they aren't. Crafting is really only beneficial for weapons and mods, the gear still is subject to too much rng. Honestly, the only thing I wanted to do is try the raid. I put a very respectable set together actually. Almost 300k armor, around 80k health, 110% damage to elites. At the range I'm close to 1.2 million dps with a p416 and I can drop 5 named targets with 1 m60 100 round drum and all that with no headshots. I've got patience on the pads and berserk on the chest (I think so anyway, can't remember on that one). Just to test it out I tried it in the occupied dark zone and cleared a landmark with it. The tusk melted like butter in the summer sun of Phoenix Arizona.Originally Posted by jesusoftheants Go to original post
