Gotta say that I am impressed with the last week (loading excluded). I lost interest a while back but the content has given quite a lot in terms of money, plus there's more to come.
Might sound a bit odd coming from me but they are on the right track and have narrowed down the area in which performance is affected and a taster of what The Division 2 should be.
Please work overtime to gain the lost ground Ubi & the Team
Time away can fix things tcarlisle2012, it's bought the feeling of engagement back into the game, sure more tweaking to be done but it's looking pretty positive from where I'm sitting. dz need to change def tho, no interest here and that made TD1
Edit: Unless you have friends here whoever the op is?? lol, No one really gives a shizzle if you are going on holiday!... hope it's all sunshine at the destination
Goo is so hilarious it keeps me coming back for entertainment
The biggest problem with this game, like many others, we enjoy differently at different times.
That's not an acceptable rationale to ascribe to the problem. It's a combination of the two and when it comes to time it's not really in the way you suggest. No matter how much time it takes a person to complete content in this game it has no real impact on how much they enjoy it the first time they complete it. Take two people who have read and enjoyed reading the same book but read at very different speeds with the same level of comprehension. One person reads a large number of pages per minute while the other reads at a much slower rate. The content is the same but they both enjoyed it.Originally Posted by Sentinel-_-EU Go to original post
Telling the person that can read faster to slow down because they'll enjoy it more doesn't make any sense.
Loot is very much a problem in this game and time just exacerbates it.
Its the journey that counts ... If you are playing this game just to have the best build and dont like the grind then this game isnt for you.
Its a game, its ment to be fun and not a competition to have the best build fast, for me its the journey and not the end that matters, and if you dont like the game itself but are only here for the loot then this looter shooter isnt for you.
also how fast are you gonna be bored with the game IF you had found all the tiems for your "Best" build and had all the items you wanted??
It does. It's proven comprehension goes down with speed, this is just a fact. It very much means that going slower is more enriching. Same with food, sex, you name it.Originally Posted by Qukath Go to original post
The analogy your looking for is something with no humanity. Maybe making straws or something.
The problem is players will start playing this game and then they'll blow up 1000s of hours and expect the game to change and throw something new at them. While I know the game is full of bugs, glitches, disconnects, metas and other things that need a fix, the game is still playable if you play it moderately, no one should expect to play a game 18 hours a day for 4 months on average and expect the game to feel brand new, the game has a time limit to when things get released or the game would die within 2 months if they released everything at once on game release
I have about 170 hours playing time and even now with the new skills my seekers can just about one shot reds with the help of a stat that gives my skills extra power if a certain gun is equipped. Sometimes I get shocking drops but sometimes I get improved drops. So, now I am playing at getting one shot seekers before the nerf of some kind hits the skills again.
Almost everything is fun in moderation.
True. But the problem lies in what no one talks about, and has only barely begun to surface. Some people are very much addicted to video games. When those people read what you have said, they will instinctively say "I only play 5 hours a week and I'm finished with everything" which couldn't possibly be true.Originally Posted by Dyslexic-Snail Go to original post
This happens with every.single.addiction. I could go on and on about this, but I just wanted to say that you're highlighting a truth that has a built in rebuttal by it's nature.
I think I have heard that video game addiction has actually become a medical condition now. You're right in what you have said and I believe that 9/10 people will not admit to an addiction anyway and some people don't even realise they have an addiction.Originally Posted by Uhnomuhlee Go to original post
Ok, you quit the game since before the raid dropped yet you are still in the games forum for so long after to what end? Convince people to leave as well?Originally Posted by NikolasKelset Go to original post
People just leave if you want to
No one cares if you leave or still play
Just drop your hate in a thread and move on
