As the title suggests, I have been getting random crashes every 10-15 minutes, never doing the same thing, or being in the same place. I used to have an AMD FX-8350 in my system, and Wildlands ran fine, never crashed. After I upgraded to Ryzen earlier this year, I started to get random crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling UPlay and Wildlands, installing games on the same drive as OS, turning all settings to low, turning off AA, and several other "fixes" that I've been able to find to no avail. If anyone else has been experiencing similar issues, please let me know if/how you fixed it.
Current PC:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2600X
MB: ROG Strix B450-I
RAM: 16 GB (2x8GB) G.Skill Trident Z RGB
GPU: Asus Radeon R9 290X
OS: Windows 10 (on 250GB Samsung M.2 SSD)
Games installed on a 2TB WD M.2 SSD
same problem here, fresh install of windows 10 too. It says it's sending crash reports but I'd really like to find these and look at them in case there is a hint as to why the crash. It seems ridiculous that an app will crash, prompt you to send a report, but never help you understand how to resolve it. If they are dumps I can view them in windbg and maybe get an idea what's wrong.
I found crash reports are in this folder: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\Ubisoft but they are this weird *.breport file extension and I have no way to read them. There is unfortunately no *.dmp file. If there was I could read that at least.
Anyone have any idea? I wish I could at least read the report to get some clue as to why this game keeps crashing.
Hey, I'm sorry you're both experiencing crashing in-game.
