Can anyone please clarify what happens to the team war caps that players collect but never use to upgrade cards? Are they lost or automatically distributed amongst the cards when upgrade days are over?

Someone else posted on this forum what happens, but I forget which thread. Basically, all unspent caps are auto-spent. The distribution is based on whichever card is closest to completion. That card gets all remaining caps, or enough to finish it, whichever comes first. Then they will go to the next closest card, and so on. If there are multiple tied units, I think it was said that it goes in order top row left to right, then second row, etc.

Maybe someone else remembers the correct thread and will post a link, but I'm pretty confident I got all the correct details here.
