Not all, but some people who have been slightly disenchanted by certain things thus far, and it's understandable, seem to not really give the devs a lot of credit for TU5.
Seems kind of unfair. Im very curious to what you all think. Personally, I think Massive did a great job and the future looks bright.
Thoughts? Be kind and respectful. Words can be powerful.
Me too. But I hear there are some problems with the Shepherd system.Originally Posted by Dargelos_Sonico Go to original post
Another poster, with the best of intentions, pointed out a few things. The thread is still floating around here.
You play on PC, right? Somebody commented me that there was an issue there. On PS4 works fine. There are two things i would change: That you can keep XP while switching backup calls and that the agent who calls for backup also obtain some XP, otherwise doesnt make any difference with MM (after you get the give endorsement commendation).
You cannot give up, isn't it? Although the mod closed your last thread with almost the same title? LOL. You really love this game, it seems. I like the update myself. It is a step into the right direction, in my view. However, it is not that hard to accept other views for me. Not everybody who has complaints or critizises certain aspects of the game is a hater or struggles with the success of the game. It is just a game and the only opinion that matters is your own. Why not tolerate the opinion of others? Tolerance is not a weakness.
No, ps4. I wasn't referring to a technicality so much as I was alluding to the design. I'll try to paraphrase as best I can.Originally Posted by Dargelos_Sonico Go to original post
Essentially, a player was removing other players from their group after they complete x task, because of the meter relative to being able to give a "point" (can't remember the term). They did this because if the player in their group stayed to continue their adventures, they would not be able to give any more "points". They were essentially assuming the player helping was Shepard farming. Although admirable, it highlighted a problem in the design. I am personally unaware of the specifics, but this is the jest as best I can give.
That's what I was referring to. Whether or not other issues were covered in that thread or not I am unaware.
The word "hater" implies a specific ideology not akin to someone highlighting a technicality or something that is problematic. I have empathy for those experiencing issues, and try my best to help those TRUELY seeking it and not simply "hating".Originally Posted by rosch15 Go to original post
Tolerance is not a weakness, but allowing willful ignorance and blatant dishonesty is.
I think of it in terms goals that they seemed to have for the update. Changes to skills were a big ticket item, and I see a much wider variety of skills being used. I would say that was a success.
They wanted to roll out two new main missions. I’ve enjoyed them, and the overwhelming amount of feedback I’ve seen on them has been positive. I would count that as a success.
They introduced expeditions. I wasn’t as impressed with that, but I know that they are still working on the mastery system so it’s not quite where they want it. It was an interesting, somewhat different take on a mission that had some nice collectibles. Even though it’s not my favorite thing, I’m interested in seeing where it goes.
MM for the Raid discovery mode? I haven’t tried that. I can’t judge it, but reviews seem to be mixed.
On PS4 I haven’t seen any huge bugs. There have been a couple of audio issues and just a couple of Delta errors, nothing horrid. The new weapons are a bit meh, but I like the Stoner. Yes I know that it’s not the M60, but I have those too and it’s kind of fun to use something different, plus you put the gunner mag on it and that makes it more fun, for me anyway.
Crafting? A good start at least. Being able to share blueprints to each character is a win in my book.
Now if I were a PC player with the loading issues, yeah, I’d be ticked. For me though I think it is a success and a good step in the right direction. I appreciate the work that they’re doing and the hours they put in. I mean hey, with just a few tweaks and recalibrations, I can actually kill things in short order with my stinger hive, so I’m having fun. I throw that out there combined with the seekers a lot of folks are using, and many things go boom!
I mean you could always expert power over someone, in the hopes to push through an agenda more convincingly. people do use this for no other reason than to feel a sense of intellectual superiority.
Or they could let You Speak First to Establish Your Baseline and Look for Weaknesses.
I love this forum.

Haha. This post has identity lol. I do too. It's growing on me. I might actually miss this account when the permaban comes. I haven't felt that in years. About 2009 to be specific.Originally Posted by Sensible-Jack Go to original post
