For what it is worth some observations and a suggestion:

    Observation:
    1) Some people mistake normal behavior as a bug but is likely not. Example...I found that if you continue to hold down the keypress to stem bleeding when you are down and someone drops the reviver hive on you and you do not let go of the stem bleeding function, the reviver will fail to revive you.

    2) A lot of people claim the hive did not work, but in reality it was on cooldown.

    3) I have also seen people throw their hive out on pre-deploy, usually by mistake, then because they didn't realize it or whatever, they move out of the radius of effect. When they go down they then complain the hive didn't work.

    Suggestion:
    BETTER INSTRUCTIONS.
The videos on what it does are great, but there needs to be a more exact set of instructions on exactly how it works...Remember we are living in the generation where there are instructions on plastic bags that say don't put this over your head you might suffocate. And while most people don't read, some of us do and then we can tell them how it actually works according to the instructions,...and give them a heads uip.

This is a really nice thread, team!

I think the entire community could really benefit from more post very similar to this. There's just way to much "I think this.." going on when it comes to the mechanic of some of the systems in the game.

While I've been overall pleased with the communication from the devs and support. Things like this are only going to make the overall community stronger and more knowledgeable, which in turn helps everyone out!

I'm curious how many other "bugs" are happening with the game do to some issues with "user input" and or simple lack of on screen "information".

I will say that I learned very early on that there was no reason at all for me in this game to "button mash". And I'll also say I personal haven't encountered half the bugs that have been spoken about since the start of div 1.

No, I'm not saying all of our problems are "user error". There's obviously loads of real issues with the game. But I'm sure way more than WE, the end user would like to admit is due to.. poor connection, crappy setups. Highly unoptimized systems, computers and consoles and networks bogged down with all sorts of crap. Or even... Simple input error.. button mashing.

I'm also really curious about how much of an effect could those things play when it comes to net code and over all latency/synchronization with these seemingly very mediocre game servers.

Thank you for being transparent on this issue with us. However, I would like to see a similar post regarding the hit registration issue that we previously reported.

ever since the last title update the hive became utterly useless. it does not even attempt to revive anymore under no circumstances and i get send to the respawn screen right away. and no, it was not cooldown because it cant be if it never procs. i could post several clips of proof if someones interested to see them.

    That's interesting...
at first look of your vid.. i thought.. hmmm..must be a console related issue...

but then i re watched the moment you went down and looked at the skills .. i guess i noticed that everytime you would dodge/roll that Hive was "greyed" out.. not sure if that matters.. but I really don't see what the issue is other than that.

There are the off times that reviver hive doesn't work for me.. but usually the times when i know it won't work is when I am surrounded in fire or poison.. or some DoT (dmg over time) sort of effect..
At least those are the times I have noticed it will not work.. and I am on PC.

But most of the time my reviver Hive works for me.

Very interesting post. The problem is, however, that the reviver hive does not properly work again since TU5.

Hey. In this clip you're using the Restorer Hive Skill, not the Reviver Hive. The Restorer has a + symbol on the top left, surrounded by a shield. The Reviver Hive also has a + symbol but it has a lightning striking through it.
The Restorer Hive restores your armor and has to be manually activated, it does not revive you.

you´re right. i just checked my build and it turned out that the restorer was actually active instead of the reviver which made me feel like an idiot at first. but then ive noticed that the game swaps out the skill everytime i switch between loadouts, eventhough its saved. so it wasnt entirely my fault.
