If you did not resolve this issue, and if it has persisted for you into the main game (if you purchased it!), I would recommend completing our basic PC troubleshooting steps in the first instance, as these will help to eliminate any basic / common issues that may be impacting your ability to run Space Junkies.
Should issues persist following your completion of these steps, I'd recommend following up with our support team as my colleague Ubi-Kay suggested, by submitting your MSinfo and DxDiag files for further investigation.
