Story Creator Mode - Update: July 25
Hey everyone,
we'll be deploying a Story Creator Mode Update tomorrow (July 25) during a scheduled maintenance starting at 9am EDT | 3pm CEST.
Story Creator mode downtime: 30 minutes
Please find the changes with the update below.
Story Creator
- New Block: Objective Group
- This new block allows Creators to group and display several objectives as one
- Creators can decide how many Objectives need to be completed in order to complete the Objective Group
- Upon completion, the uncompleted Objectives are cancelled
We are going to update the Story Creator Mode's User Manual with more information about the Objective Group shortly.
- Behavior Update: Bodyguard
- NPCs are automatically set as Allies in all cases
- Added a warning message recommending to spawn NPCs with a good distance between them at first, so the Auto-Ally kicks in before they meet each other
- Added a tooltip regarding the “Remember Reaction to Player”
- Improved the validation of the Free Starter and Free Objective (warning messages are clearer)
- Added a Validation Error when there is no Quest after the Debug Starter
- Target Type names have been changed to better reflect their function/difference in the Kill Objective
BUGS FIXES
Story Creator
- Addressed an issue causing the Map to not be properly updated with the used object, while within a Destroy Objective
- Addressed an issue causing player character to spawn at Zone Starter location instead of the Starting Location when using an Escort Objective
- Addressed a validation problem when using the Objective Group that was causing a wrong warning to appear
- Addressed an issue that was causing Elite characters to not be correctly saved in the Creator
