    Shepard System / Don't work/ Is a Joke/ Trolling

Please DEVS if you read it. You already have my answer for new system.
    Change it ASAP. Please.
I tried 15 calls yesterday. Helping people with CP4, Bounties, Missions, Stronghold.
Receive only one Thumbs UP. THis system is a joke. I don't know from where you take your data from PTS and STOG but is totally useless and unfair even to use it.
I lost so much time and like to help others. Doing heroic mission for 20min with another player. And he don't even award me with it.
Why i even bother myself to go for calls if most players base is so selfish and doesn't care about effort i do to them.
I should be awarded for time I'm helping and then receive EXP which can go until rank 100. After finishing activity you should see how much EXP you earn. Not like now is presented.

OF course people says they concern about it and again nobody cares and put something to the game what doesn't make any sense.
Now even more i don't want to help even more.
So that's the reaction you want from players yes? Massive?
Because there is multiple post on forum and reddit how bad design that system is.

    I hope for replay.

    Agent out

Answering the call is optional, do it because you have the time not for the reward. You called the player base selfish, right? You only answered the call for the reward, not because you wanted to help someone who is struggling....

The above may sound harsh but it's how it is. Thousands of people will answer the call for the reward and I imagine that all those times that someone was ignored because there was no reward will find it hard to give out rewards to whoever answers the call now.

I’ll still be answering the call Reward or Not.

I like answering the call due to the Forrest Gump factor. You never know what your going to get.

But no where can I find how to give “thank you” to a few players who answered my call. And that’s how I think it should be seen as. Giving a thanks and not a reward.

Ooo, no i totally agree with your point. You have right. But tell me. That was a reason yes? the reward? to answer the calls because before almost no one answer them. You want to be rewarded when you put time and effort to help random people in need yes? and the system is broken. Because it doesn't reward you properly to effort you make. Yes?

Hahaha, figured this would happen when I read the patch notes saying that the requesting player had to manually reward the other players.
99% of players won't care once they've gotten the help they needed, or they just don't know how the system works.

Another point is I want to help others but besides the help they need i want gear also. And the shepard system was created to make people, want to make people help each other more often. How many times I meet trolls who kick me after helping them out. So sorry if i am already more negative for call for backup. But always one thing have to another. Your arguments dont fully represent the issue i precise say. And that is Shepard System. Not if i do it for reward or not. My own perspective doesn't imply here. It doesn't matter. I talking about the people who receive help and don't do nothing. When i ask for help in open world with cp4 and someone will join me i will reward him the same way. Simple.

I don't know 100% how it works, I don't have Xbox Live since switching over from PS4 about 5 almost 6 months ago. I don't miss it either. If you help someone and you you get a reward take it as a bonus.

It’s just another way to troll people. Hey thanks for answering the call and helping me with these 5 lvl4 CP. Here is your “kicked from group” reward.

This was something everybody knew it would happen... I think it should not be up to the person you helped (sheep) to give you credit or not, but up to the game system. I mean, if you answered the call and succesfully completed whatever activity you should get your Sheppard XP. This system is too open to trolling or just lazyness or... well, maybe the sheep doesn't even know about this and doesn't care about this XP?
There are ranks and rewards (basically cosmetics and titles, patches, etc...) behind this feature, so I think it should be the game who actually reward you for doing it. Leaving it open to people is not a good idea...

Agreed, i always help people if i got time to kill. 9 times out of 10 you get booted sometimes even before collecting loot. Now relying on people who barely pay attention and seem to get fun outta screwing with other people. In theroy its a great concept...i just cant see it working out with when the majority of calls for help are abused. I did a few tonight, helped finish multiple missions /activites, still no shepard points. Ive collected the platinum trophy and all the commendations up to TU5 i would like to finish commendations but since 2 are shepard related it seems problematic to say the least. I like the concept of calling for backup but something needs to be done yo fine tune this
