That;s the problem for me it doesn't let me offer 2 items. I can offer 1 item then it goes to the weapon selection. Here I cant offer a weapon, it only gives me the option to craft. The craft option also is NOT from a blueprint but rather it crafts an item I already have in my inventory.

What do you mean sacrifice a piece and a weapon?
Yoda, no sense, you make.
We just used to go to the bench and it told you to upgrade it, we pressed a button and that was that.

When I upgraded on Xbox, it told me to hold the X button to upgrade the bench. I did that. It then shows 2 icons at the top, 1 for gear stuff and 1 for a weapon. Below that should be a list of gear that you can donate, craft, or my words sacrifice. Pick any piece that you was expecting to destroy or sell. Once that is done, you then are given the same options for guns. Rinse and repeat. Then you are given the choice to upgrade the bench.

If I remember correctly at some other point in the life of the game prior to this, we had an opportunity to upgrade the bench.

Finally got it to work last night...

* Played the game until I had an item & weapon I didn't want to keep.
* Marked both as Junk
* Went to the upgrade bench and selected option to "Upgrade Bench"
* Selected the Junk Item
* Selected the Junk Weapon
* Then press and held "CRAFT" ( This is the misleading part, the option should read "UPGRADE")

Bench now at 500
