Not sure what your definition of pros is but thinking ahead where weak points of/ counters to your strat are and ban them seems quite professional to me.
In what way is it twisting it? I state the situation as I saw it. A "pro" player can work with handicaps and still win. So they shouldn't have anything to fear. If someone is a THREAT to your plans then it's YOUR plans that are flawed. Not the other players. If YOU don't have a plan or a counter then that's on you, not them.
That said if it's an issue of game balance then that's on the devs for not making ops balanced against each other. People WILL abuse advantages. Even if it's unfair. People will also stick to playstyles even if it's inferior. Kicking people for that also discourages people playing the game in general and risks the game dying off due to people not wanting to play because the enviroment becomes toxic.
Whatever way you look at it taking it out on people that choose ops, for whatever reason, is counter productive for the game on a whole.
As far ranks, I find that unreliable. You can get 4 kills in one round yet end up under 4000 anyway. Even if you're average on a whole. I can only come to the conclusion that if people get kicked for being gold then average players simply "aren't allowed" to play ranked matches. And if the average player doesn't play the game...
Personally I'm more concerned about bomb only matches. Lack of variation isn't fun. Hostage rescue is a different game types and adds variation.
Thing is 9/10 matches end in a wipe out. The game seems more focused on killing the other team then completing objectives. Even though objectives are there. And instead of addressing proper gameplay issues the devs instead churn out op after op after op and skin after skin after skin. But "They need money", right? As you said in another thread. Well pal, they got plenty of money. What are they DOING with it? After all this time? Making gameplay more restrictive by the looks of it. That isn't "twisting". That's just a simple fact.
