    Tried MM for discovery raid

Awesome, gives us that haven't find a group yet a chance to learn the mechanics, at razorback, we was wiped four times, some left after each wipe but most stayed. Didn't succeed this time but I'm pretty convinced next try we beat him or at least I've learned the mechanics pretty well.
It was a lot of fun.
So all negativity about discovery mode for raid, if you don't like it you don't have to do it and certainly not if you're playing normal raid, but for us trying to get the hang of it, it's great.

I agree. There's literally nothing "bad" about the inclusion of it. Haven't tried it yet and I have completed the normal raid, but Im still thinking this will be a much more relaxed raid environment with everyone wanting a speed run Everytime, plus it might be a decent farm scenario.

Don't get me wrong I'm cool with being efficient for the most part. But I'm not always looking to just go as fast as possible..

So here's the changes from the PTS, they buffed the bosses health and damage drasticly (you could kill weasel and his crew before the gas reached 15) and similarly buddy and lucy. They nerfed the mechanics even further, i didn't hear a single laptop on boomer, the gas stacks stopped at 15 without causing further debuffs, razorback no longer shoots missels if players fail to fill up hte cirlce at the same it just stays there complete for enough time for a single player to go around doing that

Glad to hear that you're enjoying it and getting some good mileage out of it. I'm very curious to see how/if the conversation around MM shifts now that it is available.

I'm excited to try it out. Sucks we don't get the EB, but meh, I'll gear up other ways. At the very least I'd like to complete the raid.

Razorback has a specific execution pattern, and here are some tips my group follows:

    1) Bring at 2 Survivalist to shoot the front and back vents and 2+ Nemesis Snipers to handle Heavies at the missile launchers.

    2) Wipe if you just switched specs and need to reload on special ammo -- this gives you 4 special ammo at the next Razorback attempt if you had < 4.

    3) When first jumping down, clear mobs and DO NOT ENTER ANY OF THE DOTTED CIRCLES. If you do, the timers for the heavies at the corners starts ticking

    4) Each circle requires 1 person to enter to fill it, and since the heavies are on a timer, entering the circles together quickly works best. Do not leave the circles early or your the tower wings take no damage.

    5) After killing the heavies, you have to enter the circle within 10 seconds or else you run into a heavy during the DPS phase. It's better to wait until the next heavy shows up if you miss this window. After Razorback hits 50% damage, you get 2 heavies per cycle.

    6) Everyone should be killing drones when possible

    7) Sharpshooters are very good in this raid since their head shots generate tons of ammo, and the TAC-50 does excellent damage vs. Razorback

    8) Nemesis is the best helmet breaker at long range, so having 2 or more dedicated Nemesis snipers who can hit their head shots across the map makes quick work of the heavies. This assumes you are actually optimized for Nemesis damage (450k+ base Nemesis damage displayed).

    9) Having a Nemesis sniper on the catwalk above Launcher #4 allows good coverage of Launchers 1 + 3 + 4. Much easier to survive up there too, but that player must drop down to DPS Razorback's wings and rear facing (after 50% dmg dealt).

Feel free to add to the list.

First MM group I tried we have got to Buddy and Lucy, not going so well currently but its been a great laugh.

Edit, Got to Razorback in the end but not everyone gets what to do, we got it down by half but after that we had drop outs and then it went tits up.

I haven't played past boomer before but I worked out pretty fast what was we had to do so I guess this discovery mode is good even though its a lot easier.

It's much more fun playing The Division 2 now.

    Thanks Ubisoft

That’s the thing: Rather than keep the mechanics of the normal Raid in place so that the Discovery Raid acts as a tutorial, they dumbed down the experience to such an extent that it actually does not teach you how to do the normal Raid at all.........
