Global Event Strike starts July 22nd 2019

Next week is a good time to gear up. The Global Event Strike is on:

Start: July 22nd: 08:00 AM UTC
End: July 29th: 08:00 AM UTC

    Classified Gear Sets

    Classified Path of the Nomad
    Classified D3-FNC
    Classified Predator's Mark
    Classified Banshee's Shadow

D3 is a great PvE set. It can be built all Stam for tanking in a group, or a mix for solo. They nerfed the shield in PvP so it is not the best for that though it is very effective on the PvE part of the DZ still.
Last I heard, Nomad and Pred are still two of the more powerful sets in the DZ. They both work well in the LZ as well. I actually don't know of anyone that uses a full Banshee build though it is made specifically for PvP.

Thanks bambihunter, I'll be helping friends next week doing legendarys farming Ge credits so they can finally complete there nomads and can survive in the Dz a bit longer against the hackers 😕 could do with a couple of better D3 bits myself, nothing worse than running out of bullets on your smg and having to use a pistol against a rogue in the Dz 😁 they should call this the PvP Ge, cos it's all the meta gear for pvping !

Question ....Okay so when you buy one of the purple superior caches with 1500 GE credits do you only get a random piece of classified gears selected for this particular Global Event or can you get any piece from any set? Thanks if anybody answers

Hi TroyBlackburn, you only get the Ge sets that are collectable for this event at the global vendor in both those cache's with a chance of an exotic/bonus item from the 1500 cache's. I always go for the 1500 cache cos the rng for the 3000 cache can be a nightmare, getting 6 holsters in a row ect. You can still get any piece from the cache that the normal vendor sells for 2500 phoenix credits any time.

Yes, you ONLY can get the gear sets that are offered during this GE.

On the 3k cost ones, you also get a varying amount of Div Tech so if a person doesn't really need any of the sets, they can still run them to get Div Tech. On the 1.5k ones, you have a chance to get a piece of any of the available gear sets. I will note though that it isn't guaranteed to be classified. But, you do occasionally get a 'bonus' item which can also include exotics (maybe other sets in the bonus part, I don't remember for sure). I find that if you don't have much gear, it is best to start out with the 1.5k ones. Then, as you near completing a desired set, then maybe switch to that specific cache. I find I do get more classy gear per credits spent with the 1.5k caches, but again you don't get Div Tech and it is a bit of a longer shot. If you think about it. The 3k gives you a 1 in 6 shot of the piece of gear you need from that specific set and it is guaranteed to be classified. The 1.5k cache can be any of the 4 sets, and any of the 6 pieces each, and may or may not be classy (so 1 in 24 chance of getting what you need, and 50/50 whether you'll get it classified.
    So, recap:
New users without much gear, I'd recommend 1.5k caches until you start to get either near the end of the GE, or about to finish the desired set then switch to 3k sets. Also, remember you do NOT have to spend all your GE credits. They can be saved and used up to the very second the next GE drops on current gear, or used on next sets. I generally try to end with a full 10k credits ready to spend next time but of course that depends on what sets are available now and next.

Now is the time to grind agents. There is simply no better ratio of time spent to classy's obtained than during GE's. Whether it is the sets you want, that is another subject entirely.

Yeah I've just been buying the Superior Cache for 1500 GE credits and I've been farming the Dark Zone .....every named boss kill pays 150 GE and they re-spawn like every 15 mins....I'm not even trying to extract anything I'm just stacking chips
