As some of you may already know, UbiFredEx is moving to a different title! We thank him for everything he's done for the community (and on a personal note - everything he taught me about the CM position in general). It's been a pleasure working with him on a daily basis.![]()
This leads to another couple of announcements: I'm the new Community Manager on For Honor for NCSA territories, and Ubi-RealDude will be taking the Community Representative spot! I know he's going to be an awesome addition to the forum, and I hope to still hang out here as often as I can.
We both look forward to working with Ubi-P4in to chat with you guys as much as possible!
I want to address a concern that a few people worried about when Eric left: the Community team is not the same as the FH dev team. We get different titles for a variety of different reasons. I've worked on Siege, The Division, Ghost Recon, Steep, and of course For Honor in my career at Ubisoft. In other words: the games we work on tend to change from time to time. It's pretty normal.
Anyhow, please give Ubi-RealDude a warm welcome!
Just for a bit of extra trivia, I'm a Nuxia main.![]()
Thanks for the introduction, UbiInsulin.
Hello everyone. Happy to be hopping into For Honor. Bear with me as I make my way around these here forums at first. I'm sure we'll get real comfortable with each other in no time.
For those curious, Warden main by virtue of being both the first hero played and that wondrous two handed long sword...
Hitokiri trainee by virtue of the aesthetic.
Welcome to the community. I'm sure you'll be great and I hope the community treats you well. Good luck and have fun!Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
As you can tell, my first main was the Warden. Orochi was my second but I struggled with him. I tried maining Valk next but I could only perform well in team battles but this was a year before her rework. My last true main was Shugoki and I did exceptionally well with him but for, somewhat, the wrong reasons, however, that's a long story. I have no mains now, I'm just a cosmetic hunter.
I've played For Honor since the open beta. My current Rep is 398 but that will change very soon. If you have any questions, let me know.
All the best!
Hi! My name is BOG, I enjoy long romantic walks from capture point to capture point, my ideal mate is someone who is much better than me so they can carry me through the tougher matches. My interests include, ledging, spamming my fastest lights, and cancelling my unblockables a split second before they hit.
Welcome to our little slice of hell Ubi-RealDude, and congrats on the promotion UbiInsulin, since you're now rich, I think buying the entire community an execution would be a great gift for us to welcome you in.

Saw the teaser for the new Viking hero and decided to jump back on the forums to read the folks here’s opinions, but pleasantly surprised to see this thread.
Thanks to FredEx, wishing you all the best for your future endeavours, and big congratulations to you Insulin. Couldn’t think of a better bloke to take the spot, you deserve it mate!
Heck you don't need to buy me anything insulin! Though a free progression transfer from console to pc would not go unnoticed~ c;Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
Good luck in what you are moving onto Fred, congrats on the promotion Insulin and welcome fresh meat RealDude, please do not bleed on the carpet, it needs steam cleaning and to do that someone has to distract the Shaman.
I have played since release day on xbox, last year I moved to PC and started playing regularly with a few others on the forum. As to main, when I play with my group with a character I am more comfortable with I tend to play Valkyrie and Nobushi, if I need to fill team composition in a pug game I am confident enough in Highlander, Peacekeeper, Nuxia, Raider and Jiang Jun, I am also spending a lot of time working every character to rep 8 vs ai for the gear (I like my menu screen pretty, I am shallow) and to try to understand those that I don't play well enough to fight them a little better given, y'know, before you complain about someone you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way you have a new pair of shoes you are a mile away from the previous owner of. Half way through my seventeenth, nine (including the unreleased harbingers) after that to go as it stands.
