    Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you are also encountering this.

Can I check if you have tried the steps mentioned by Ubi-Raziel?

    Many thanks in advance

Same issue here with Revelations on XBox One X Ezio Collection digital purchase. Constant freeze-crashes. Now 3 crashes in a row, 2 when trying get to the mission marker and finally now just when I was able to get there and start the mission. 2 or 3 sporadic crashes before today on Revelations. I thought I could play around them but now I'm calling quits on this awful XBox version.

Honorary marker for the first Xbox game that crashes. Congratulations Ubisoft.

No issues with AC2 or Brotherhood in same collection when I played through them around Christmas.

    Hello there snakeman_1977!

I'm sorry to hear you've encountered crashes in-game. Just to confirm, have you been able to try any of these Xbox troubleshooting steps?

If the issue persists after trying these steps, can you let us know if these crashes happen at any specific points, or after carrying out specific actions? Or does it just seem to be random?

Do these crashes only happen with one save file, or have they happened with multiple different saves?

    Thanks!

    - Have you noticed if the crash occurs at specific times? For example, axl718 mentioned it happens if a smoke bomb hits a guard
    - Have you tried any of the above troubleshooting steps, and did it help?
    - How often would you say the crashes occur?

    Thank you!
Hello, Series X user here. This is STILL an issue in May 2021. You hit the guard with the smoke bomb and the game crashes. Exactly how it is shown in his video. If you are unable to replicate that, but many other gamers are, I’m not really sure what to say.

These games are tremendous and deserve to have silly game breaking glitches like this fixed.

I have Xbox One X, and just like you i never had problems until that mission. The game freezed and crashed, but the console never shut down. I did as you said and i solved the problem, thanks! I'll let you all know if i find other problems.

News: as others said, the game freezed, crashed and the console turned off... It happened after i bought some things while it was saving the game, and next when i just killed an enemy in a red zone. So sad! If i knew... i would have bought the PlayStation version!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry to hear some of you are still experiencing this issue.

I previously stated that we were unable to reproduce this in a testing environment - this was true, however that's why I asked more questions to understand what causes the crash to occur.

An issue with smoke bombs causing the game to crash was reported to our devs, however I have no further information at this time. It seems to occur when it hits a guard directly, therefore I recommend aiming for the floor.

Regarding the more general crashes - No issues have been found at this time. If the crashing persists, please try the following steps to see if that helps you.

    All the very best.

I just had a crash on the mission "The Sentinel Part 1",. I am on Xbox Series X. The console did not shut down, and was booted to the dashboard. I had 2 crashes like that in AC2, and one crash that shut down the console on Xbox Series X. I had no crashes in Revelations prior to that. In a major fight in a street with several guards, I called in an assassin once, and it crashed, but the second time I tried that exact thing again, and it did not crash at all.

This game has received a 60FPS boost from Microsoft on the Series X, making this game a higher priority due to renewed interest. If you cannot reproduce this on a development kit, then reproduce this on an actual console, because the game shutting down the console has the potential to damage it.

Thanks for providing this additional feedback, please rest assured our team are looking into the potential cause of this. In the meantime would you be able to confirm whether you have been able to work through the troubleshooting steps previously provided.?
