Saturday night in Australia and I've been waiting 30 minutes now without luck to find anyone to matchmake for Tidal Basin on heroic or challenging.
I'm in a 50 person clan without anyone else on line - only 10 of the clan have been online within the last 7 days.
This is not a good sign.
Time for Ubi/Massive to have a good hard look at their approach to this game - ridiculous RNG, poor recal/crafting system and insufficient access to further content is obviously sending people elsewhere. It's a shame.
Here in Europe, the waiting times are not this long, but much longer than two months ago. It is definitely not a good sign, same with the huge discount on the game. My once full clan is dead. With a heavy heart, I changed into an active clan a few days ago. It is sad that a game with so much potential fails due to the issues you mentionend above.
Thats nothing, I'm in a full clan and only 3 of us actually still play. No one else has been on in over 3 weeks.I'm in a 50 person clan without anyone else on line - only 10 of the clan have been online within the last 7 days.
Although I'm US East coast and it is summer here. So combination of people quit or they are out doing summer things I guess.
The guy that started the clan hasn't played in over 2 months, LOL.
All of the signs point to complete collapse but if you make suggestions on the forum, shills will just say 'The games balanced and completely enjoyable right now'. Right... That's why my entire clan and everyone I know quit and the forums are filled with dissenting opinions about this dumpster fire. Truly, I've never regretted buying something so bad as the division 2. Never again.
Seems most clans are joining up through random friends communicating on Raids. Our clan was also 45 strong but only the diehard 3 left of us just joined another. I like to think of us now as an underground resistance
The feedback is always the same though, sh1t RNG is the only reason for people moving on. Does anyone remember 15 years ago when games used to be fun and not like work with no pay?
hmm in Europe i dont have problem with players....When i log mission everytime anybody login to me..Few sec and we have party with 3 random people. When i calling agent yea, this is little more time need but still 1-2 minutes and request accept or when i log DZ few times and full group.. I havent problem meet with no players. In our clan every day 5-10 people online. In our land Discord Division 2 is there are a lot of people every day who play TD2. Facebook page too. Maybe problem with PVP find some people but PVE is instantly.
Lemme get this straight so I'm sure I understand. It's Saturday night and you're sitting at home playing a video game. Alone. In your own house. On Saturday night. And you're asking why there are not very many others sitting at home, alone, playing a video game... on Saturday night.Originally Posted by krustybulletz Go to original post
Out of curiosity, what is the Tuesday evening match-making experience like?Where are the players?
The problem with PvP is that players need to invest a lot of time to make proper builds. You can't just wander in with your PvE build and expect not to get wiped. Players will get discouraged when constantly wiped.
An option for non-persistent mode where everyone starts off equal like survival mode in D1 can give the casual players a reason to play PvP.
