There has to be a way to balance it. I agree about hip fire being almost useless but if it was as accurate as maybe it should be, shields would be way OP. Maybe make hip fire accurate but make suppression strong when the shield is being shot so the defender has a chance in the exchange. I dunno, shield balance has always been tough and probably always will be.

The entire problem is that they tried to make a 100% offensive shield. So what happens is hes either UP so ppl can deal with him or hes OP because its not hard to get up close and personal. Right now especially on console hes in that op state. They made him 2-speed because his pick rate was rock bottom, and that was because shields, as a whole, sucked

But shields are trash RN, as such, Blitz was trash. They cheesed him up, and now he is either broken or UP

Welp ubisoft doesn't care that shields can't hit the broad side of a barn i guess, i say this as hipfire can miss people litreally at melee distance

They already can't shoot right when shield is equipped at melee distance. How can you make it worst?
I tried the shield yesterday. Will never play them again.
1. Hip-fire is completely useless even at melee range
2. Blitz shield is way too small. I don't want something big like Mountain, but when moving with Blitz, you can be easily killed by the side and netcode is not helping. Example; I saw someone stuck in a corner, I flashed him with Blitz, I went on him and decided to attack with my shield... BUT THE MELEE ATTACK IN THIS GAME IS SO BROKEN that I'm just slipping on the other guy and he was able to kill me in two shots because my shield wasn't protecting me anymore. Or sometime they are just shooting my shoulder which is stupid since a shield should protect you.
3. Now that you can't one-shot enemies with a shield, it's completely useless, since you are loosing time to hit the guy again.
