    Controller Issues

I use an Xbox One Elite controller on a PC to play this game. Lately I've noticed that the game can distinguish between a short press of the "X" button and a press and hold.

For instance, if I'm trying to revive a fallen teammate but my gun's magazine isn't full the game will make me reload my gun first before it lets me revive my teammate (even if only one bullet is missing from the magazine). The same thing happens when opening a door or a loot box.

This is really frustrating and something that I hope gets fixed soon.

    Hello DarkKnight27us,

Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried to reinstall your controller drivers by any chance?

I did, and I updated the firmware on the controller and it's still an issue.

Hey guys! Do you use a wired or wireless controller by chance? Is that the only instance you've noticed an issue with the controller?

I use it wirelessly, this is the only game I've noticed this issue. Overwatch and Apex Legends work fine.

But thinking wireless could be the problem I tried weed as well and the issue still persists.

This is nothing new, it's been like this since division 1, don't expect it to ever get fixed, or alternatively download a 3rd part app to remap one of your paddles or buttons so revive has it own dedicated button.

Thanks for that input! What other troubleshooting steps have you tried at this point? I generally suggest disabling extra background applications for controller issues like this.
