Spawning on top of other units
A weird thing with spawning is the fact that by spawning your units on top of other units they are pushed back and forced to move around.
I keep getting this all the time when running Big Gay Al: he is within range and attacking when people spawn their defender on top of him and he stops attacking and is forced to walk around (and gets killed while walking). It doesnt make a lot of sense, he is not a low weight small/fast unit. Others shouldnt be able to spawn him away like that. Its the newly spawned units that should be forced to appear where there is room, not the other way around.
Or at least whoever is smaller/lighter should be the one that is pushed back.
And I am aware a lot of people consider this a "smart strategy", but I still think there should be some kind of limit to its effect or a consideration of size/weight (as in knockback when a phone is lost).

I second that...
Couldn't agree more. Mimsy doesn't seem to have this problem. I've never seen him get budged more than a half a step from attacking, and will easily push anyone out of his way. Al not only gets knocked around, he will go around the smallest of assassins to get back into an attack position.

Yeah that "go around the smallest of assassins to get back into an attack position" is the worst because as people spam their spawns on him he keeps walking slowly around while more and more assassins spawn in front of him, making him completely useless... He should just ignore them, stay within range and keep attacking like normal units do.
