    Hard to Beat Noobs

Just started the game and pretty much a noob, but I’ve been practicing a lot: finished both apprentice and warrior trials; did the campaign twice – hard and realistic modes; and practicing with level 3 bots (I can now easily kill level 2 bots). When I play PVP; however, I often come across fellow noobs (some with slightly lower rep than I am) that are so hard to beat. They are faster than level 3 bots and hard feint like crazy. Where do they get their training from? Please help. If those noobs are hard to beat now, imagine when I reach higher levels.

New players tend to button mash a lot.Don't worry, keep a calm head and don't do the same. You'll have the upper hand

You're not fighting noobs, you're fighting a vet grinding a fresh account for a single character, and yes it's super annoying.

@ FuncK_D: You lost me there. In my personal opinion, you lose your edge if you are constantly fighting players with lesser skills. Why would anyone to that to themselves? Isn't the goal is to improve? Again, personal opinion: You get a beating most of the time by dueling with skilled players, but you also learn a lot.

Because people want easy steel and an easy mow-over noobs grind for outfits, emotes, and executions per character. You will find people who also macro so they don't get afk kicked from breach (it rolls them or does a move so they don't get kicked) so it shouldn't surprise you really that not all people sign into a video game looking for a skilled challenge.

As mentioned before some might be Smurfs but alot of players may be transitioning to a new platform. Since PC reps don't cross over to XBOX or PS alot of low rep players might have been REP 50 or 60 on the Platforms they left. I'm sure some are just people being toxic wrecking Noobs but most are probably legit players who are switching over. Good news is the better players you face the quicker you will develop . I highly recommend fighting Level 3 bots for a few weeks to learn the moveset and timings. If you can beat level 3's consistently you can beat most new players. just keep at it.

First off, Welcome to the game.
Pro Tip :P Remember to always enjoy your purchase, bump over to AI game modes soon as you think your matched poorly, then go back to PvP.

Your going to want to know that the game was given out FREE for almost a month in summer of 2019, meaning everyone in the world got free unlimited copies/ accounts to the game being interested in the game or not. Just know the entire gaming world, all parts of it are now enrolled in For Honor.

With that in mind, what your seeing could be the REP level of the hero, but not the player. High rep players can still have Rep 0 hero's, but are supposed to be matched with same rep players..... which almost never happens because the game has lost players, and most new players and everything inbetween stay at low rep game play.

    Hope this helps.
