    I think enemies should chase us longer. As usual, in games, certain group of enemies has a limited area of chasing. They attack us, chase to a certain point and then turn back. It makes game more mechanic and less alive. Not good! It can be used by gamers as cheating also. If you know that enemies chasing you to a certain hill, for example, you can attack them, fight, shoot and in critical situation run to this hill and wait it out.....then again and again.....Enemies behave in this case like silly robots! Making the game more robot-like. As a result making the game itself less attractive. But to make computer game alive is the main task. When this bunch of dead technic: mathematics, programming, bots.....when this whole robot, named computer game, come alive - this is miracle!

    Enemies should penetrate everywhere we can penetrate. There should be no rooms, tunnels, attic....where enemies don't enter. It can be also used as cheating! If we can physically penetrate into some place enemies also should penetrate there.

    Enemies shouldn't constantly respawn in a certain location. For example, if we killed all enemies in the factory building....turning back the same road we shouldn't see all these enemies again.
    We should see the result of our work! See it and enjoy.

    oldtricknewdog, what do you understand by "fun game"??? I'm afraid everyone has its own idea about it. Far Cry 5 was rather fun game.

    What about immersion? Rage2 and Borderlands3, Far Cry type games, were also rather fun but with lack of immersion. Far Cry is not only fun but immersive also.

    Unfortunately games, sometimes, lose its atmopshere. May be because of fun chasing also.
    For example, watching Dying Light 2 trailers and gameplay........it's far from first part's atmosphere. With middle east music, city.

    So happens that games start developing as immersive and atmospheric but later lose this quality. For various reasons. But original, initial idea of such games and franchises was right.

    For example, let's take Metro. First part was immersive, dark, claustraphobic game. It was initially planned to be so....crawling in the gloomy corridors of the subway among the mutants. It was fundamental idea! Basic. In its basis the game was excellent and unique. But later.......the atmosphere began to spoil. And in the end developers went out of Metro, they went out of Basis.

    But the game should be in its Basis. Game must change itself......but, at the same, time stay itself. Changing, the game should stay itself. Playing Far Cry 6 we should see....yes, this is Far Cry. Not another game!

    Here's a suggestion;

    NPC's don't get spooked so easily.

    Agree. Sometimes rather hard to catch them and to talk!

    I want to add about music. Not songs but ambient music. When we are roaming through the country....

    I think it should be more music that puts us in a trance! Some kind of meditating music. Beautiful melody and musical accompaniment is not enough - it should have trance effect.

    Mountains, rivers, houses.....in foggy sunrise or sunset....will have more effect with such music. It will give more unforgettable atmosphere. More relaxation.

    It's difficult to explain. I was looking for such music as example.... but music taken out of context loses its value. To explain it better - work of art is needed - as a whole!

    (Looking for the music I've come across Stalker2 information and remembered the game, book and movie Stalker. About men who are penetrating the anomalous zone.Movie is different from the book, rather special, has good atmosphere which is emchanced by such music.....With english subs.

    My ideas for Far Cry 6? Sure! - Now I have a small moment:

    I. But first I think it is a good time to remeber a few things which were in Far Cry 2 and are gone:

    - Cutting the palm branches with an MG. Just a detail, but it realy pushes "subjective" realism. Why not bring it back? (Maybe in a few "near scripted" situations?)
    - Jamming guns - should be in Far Cry 6 as "optional" - I realy miss this aspect of realism ... but can understand that ppl also hate it. So it should be an option that can be turned on/off.

    II. New ideas:

    II. 1. Would be great to push the weather aspect; including some "dangerous" components like storms, (similar to the water spound in Assassin's Creed Black Flag or Rouge, + lightning strikes, also extreme heat (desert) or cold weather (mountains) can be an idea; + maybe adding vulcanic activities could be a "cool" (or hot) idea, too.

    Reasoning:
    In Far Cry Primal the focus on exploration was very high. I think this aspect is very important and should be mixed with the "modern stuff" of the main series to bring this aspect more into the Far Cry games in general. But this also means, "just" dangerous animals are "not enaugh". Explorations today - why can it be dangerous? Animals ... not only. Weather ... yes, the right direction.

    The weather (and maybe similar things) should have a bigger effect on the way you play and the dangerous situations you could get into.
    Rains = slippy road;
    Snow = vehicles can get stuck;
    extreme heat = stamina gets down (similar to malaria in Far Cry 2);
    wind = bad for parachutes;
    bigger waves = smaller boats can overturn
    smaller vulcanic eruption = dangerous / "reduces health"
    ... etc. pp.

    Maybe there should be also an option to turn extreme weater on or off; or to set how often extreme weather would appear (if not scribted in missions).

    Another/Additional smaller aspects could be: Rare and beautiful weather phenomenon like rainbows or auroral lights; a bit like "easter-eggs". If you spot them, (or take a photo of them and share them), you might feel like: "Wow! I play this game now for XX hours and this is the first time I see something like this!"

    II. 2. A realy new and maybe more harmless idea: (if there would be a coast in the upcomming Far Cry games):
    Add tidal amplitude. Ebb and flow, clould be very interessting if you exaggerate it a bit. Imagine a cave near the coast that could be explored by foot (ebb) or in a small submarine (flow).
    Also with the option of floodings (... like the poor village in Assassin's Creed 2)?

    II. 3. This might be a random thing - but Far Cry is lagging in "bigger" guns (armor piercing weapons/grenade- and missile launchers); but on the other side: You can use a "jack of all trades device" - the mother of all "bigger" weapons after like 50% of the game.

    I mean after Far Cry 4 we have had a "general purpose"-missile launcher; the RAT-[whatever]. You can realy cut the time you play the game into two halfs: Without the RAT and after you have got the RAT.

    First thing I done in my thougts was: splitting it's functions:
    - Straight On Fire
    - Homing
    - Guided
    - Cluster (overhead)
    - Maybe: "Infernal Clusters"

    Then add a few missing aspects like:
    - Anti Vehicle (overhead, direct; like the "Spike LR" ... or the "Javelin" (from CoD))
    - Anti Air

    If we have the "classic RPG" and an [unguided missile launcher #2] (with a bigger magazine but weaker ammo for ecxample), we have two weapons.
    Choose a few useful functions for the current game and we can go up to 5 or 6 different missile based weapons (or similar).

    Reasoning:
    Why should we do this?

    Because you (the player) need to choose which one you carry. If you have a "general purpose"-missile launcher like the RAT, you feel like the T-Rex in a petting zoo. It ... just doesn't feel right.

    If you fear air attacks - get [missile launcher #4]
    If you think you need to fight against strong vehicles - get [missile launcher #3]
    If you need something that you could use easily against rushing soldiers - get [misisle launcher #2]
    If you fear a blood dragon - get down, be quiet and throw cyber-hearts ... or get [missile launcher #6]
    ... etc. pp.

    II. 4. After playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate I miss trains. Why not add - if possible - some trains into the map. They drive around and can be used as a safe transport. Or just to sit in and watch the different regions of the map passing yourself.

    Reasoning:
    I noticed, that - at least myself - is putting more time into a video game, if it has also some calm parts.

    ... far Cry 3 and "our" poker rounds.

    Mix a trains that rolls through the map of the next Far Cry game with some table or card games: You sit near the window and play with your AI-mates; with on eye you can watch the map passing, with the other you can play (for money and/or fun) ;D
    (... if you lose, jump out of the trains and storm the next hostile base.)

    II. 5. You remeber the beginning of Far Cry 2 (the real first Far Cry for me)? - You are sitting in a taxi and get your first impressions of the country you "work" now.
    I just wonder what happend to the gentle taxi driver. (Guess he saved you after your first malaria-attack.)
    He should have a cameo-appearence, so we all know, that he is fine.

    Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2020! @all

    If our hero will speak in FC6.....

    It would be better if he (or she) commented in a joking way. Or shout sometimes.... something inspiring. It can be some sayings or quotes that makes situation more funny! Famous words of famous people, or something from developers that fits the situation, or famous words of famous people changed by developers.

    Such phrases can be said or shout during loading the weapon, shootout, driving vehicles, flying, killing.....just any activity. Even taking money.

    One thing when the main character killing or blowing up enemies silently and another when he does it cracking funny joke.

    Enemies also can shout something funny. It can be inspiring shouting from politics, sport, history, culture.........

    jets or at least more types of aircraft are a must. I really enjoyed the aircraft in FC5, but felt it was too simplistic and lacking in actual content. It would be great if they could improve on that.

    Game about rural life .....rural planes!

    Trains in the game would be nice! In FC5 were good railroads. May be in FC6 trains will start running?! Freight trains, with goods.

    We could climb the train and enjoy surroundings, sitting on the roof....looking around.....sounds of train wheels is so relaxing.

    We should have ability to sit in this case.

    Trains open big opportunity for shooting, missions, chasing.....Well-protected train convoys. Bridges above the train and train railroad bridges, tunnels....

    People had been asking for aircrafts about 14 to 15 years ago. I'm glad Far Cry 4 introduced the buzzard 5 years ago and finally expanded further in Far Cry 5. It's a shame hang gliders didn't return in Far Cry 5 since it was a staple in the series. Since I've mentioned before that it's likely they would bring in jets for future Far Cry games, I just want hang gliders to come back.
