Doors. Interactive empty houses and breakable doors.
Falls End was first more or less populated area and....so many closed buildings! Bad.
I think first populated place should be as much interactive as possible. Some distant locations can be less, but first place is like face control. First impression. One of the first impressions.
Even if door is closed and we are knocking...someone should ask from inside, without opening the door, something like - "Who is it? Go away!"
If there is no one there we should have ability to break the door.
Sometimes agressive people may come out or bandits.
Sometimes fun.
We had breakable windows in FC5. It would be better if we'll have breakable doors also, in FC6.
At least some interactive doors.
Where behind the door can be some unexpected surprise.

There are breakable doors in Far Cry 5. We can already kick them open and sprint through them. We don't have the doors from Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 anymore. We have bunker doors. Not every structure would have functional doors for players as they serve to be decorations. Those boarded doors and windows are not meant to be opened. It's likely those buildings are abandoned.
The point was that there are few buildings and even among those few buildings... most of them are not interactive, many doors are closed. Buildings are closed. Not good for the game!
In the city, yes, we can understand such decoration. Thousands, millions of apartments can't be interactive in their own way. But in small town? They must be interactive. Even if door is closed we should have ability to break it. (If it's not an iron door). Local people, witness, shouldn't approve such intrusion.
I think any non-interactive building is like a dead mannequin, minus for a game.
Everything that makes game more alive and realistic is good. At the same time we should have ability to do things that we can't do in real life. Or doing such things will cause much troubles for us.
For example, punch a cop in the face.
In this case Far Cry should have such permissiveness. Much permissiveness. Much "punch a cop in the face"!
We should have ability to do things...that we want to do but have to hold back.
In all spheres of the game. Not only in fighting, like to smash a small town from the tank, for example. In sheres of people relationship also. Saying "FU" to someone or "grabbing by the p---y".
There should be a corresponding reaction to our actions also. Appropriate response.
Permissiviness + appropriate response = Far Cry better and better.
(Only permissiviness without response won't be good.)
I just thought of another idea. After replaying Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, there should be friendly wild animals that will assist the player. There are these situations that did occur in real life. Both Jess Black and The Judge have the Feral Friendly perk. In addition to King of the Jungle perk, there would be rare moments when wild animals assist the player. For example, if the player is swimming and there are crocodiles, sharks and/or demon fishes nearby that are willing to attack the player, several dolphins will appear to defend you. If the player is about to drown or is being washed away at a river, sea lions, beavers or an elephant would come and rescue. If a cougar is sneaking up on a player, a wild bear nearby could intercept the cougar's attack. If a wild bear is about to maul a player, a cougar could intercept as well.
The elephants in Far Cry 4 were more than willing to help players fight against the Royal Army. While there are animals acting as a third party who will fight both you and your enemies, they could choose sides. Hunters controlling animals in Far Cry 4 and Judges in Far Cry 5 fought against the player and they serve as enemies.
Domesticated animals such as Boomer, Timber, Cheeseburger, Peaches and Horatio can revive players, other domesticated animals should be able to do that as well. If a dog is accompanying a person in the wilderness, they can revive the player, other dogs and their owner. We already have friendly NPCs who are not Guns for Hire are willing to revive downed players, so should domesticated animals.
If NPCs are about to be kidnapped by enemies, some wild animals could interfere to save them.
Animals should have more interaction with their environment. Animals should be able to hop in through open windows. Since we can interact with doors in Far Cry 5, pet doors would be a nice addition.
Many people complained that the game is easy. Now imagine, what will happen if wild animals will start assist us! Game will lost the last hardcore.
Moreover, people complained that the game is messy. Now imagine, wild animals assissting us.....Crocodiles vs sharks, bears vs cougars.....Mega-mess!Super buttlefield! Sorry, buttleforest.
How it will be justified? Why do they help us? Or just new perk again?
As for me, I think there is "animals-bias" in the game. Too much animals. Like in the Zoo. It makes the game itself a bit childish. Better would be to slow down with it and concentrate more on people.
I want to add about camouflage outfits...
Enemies should see us a little worse when we wear camouflage clothing. It should depend on the color of our camouflage and the color of the environment around us.
For example, in green camouflage outfit we're less visible in the forest, in the grass or in something green around us. But we're good visible on the road, rocks....not-green environment.
In grey camouflage we're less visible on the rocks, country roads....on something grey and brown....but we're good visible in the forest.
Camouflage of a certain color makes us less visible in a certain color terrain - but makes us more visible if the terrain does not match the color of our camouflage.
For instance, wearing green camouflage doesn't mean you will be less visible everywhere!
Every color has its pluses and minuses...you have to choose and think strategically. According to the situation.
And if the game has a night....
Why not to have black camouflage. Especially for night outpost liberation. Something like Ninja outfit. It will make us less visible in the night....

Childish? If we're going by that logic, then Far Cry Primal is for children according to you. I actually want them to improve further on animals. It was easy to just stand on a boulder or building to avoid cougars and tigers in Far Cry 3, and they improved animals quite a bit on Far Cry 4 so they can actually get you.
We already have stealth where we can hide in bushes, bliss flowers, and other plants. As much as I like the idea of camouflage, Ubisoft seems to use the same stealth mechanics with the detection meter since Splinter Cell Conviction in 2010. Before Conviction, the stealth in Splinter Cell was focused on light and sound. In Far Cry 1, Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry 2, you're invisible if you're in the bushes and they would instantly spot you since the detection meter didn't exist for those games. Ubisoft did improve the detection meter stealth mechanic over time and their latest entry Ghost Recon Breakpoint also uses this game mechanic. However, it appears to be more simplified in Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, 4, Primal, 5 and New Dawn. While Splinter Cell Blacklist's camouflage were merely cosmetic, stealth was dependent on what outfit is currently being worn and the stats for each given outfit. Ubisoft is more likely to reserve camouflage for the next Splinter Cell game, a game that is completely dedicated to stealth than a first person shooter where stealth is mostly optional. As long as we can hide in plants and cover, I don't think they would change much. Unless of course if the rotor blades from a helicopter is blowing plants away, then plants that are affected by wind could potentially reveal hidden players in plants to enemy AI. That would actually be pretty neat if that affected gameplay revolving around stealth.
