I'll stream it like nobody's business, I bet a lot of people would. Being a PS VR map editor that's so easy and fun to use, that produces pretty top quality results even from people who aren't good at it is awesome and something I can only dream of, but you--you can make it happen. It will push PS VR leaps and bounds, not to mention Far Cry, and Ubisoft. Please consider it.
Thank you for your time.
I hope I'm not alone in this, but I'd really like to see the Gameworks effects come back. Even after playing FC5 and New Dawn, going back to FC4 with Godrays and Soft Shadowing and HBAO+ turned on is just freaking gorgeous. Even Far Cry New Dawn is not that tough on today's GPUs and I doubt FC6 will be that significantly upgraded in the graphics department, might as well put all that spare GPU power on today's 3060ti and up GPUs to work at making it prettier.
I don't know how likely this is now that they seem to be more in bed with AMD since the last generation, but it would be nice. Maybe they can add some vendor-agnostic optimizations for higher end GPUs......?
I'd take ray tracing but I don't realistically see it being added to an existing game engine.
Auto-grabbing ledges etc must be on/off toggable. Most of the times I grab onto ledges it is by mistake. Unsufferable when you try evading fire- meaning to run into a tunnel or house for cover, only to end up grabbing onto the ledge of that entrance. Jumping sideways to dodge some dog attacking, can leave you hanging aswell.
A solution would be that you only grab onto ledges midair if you're holding 'jump' key down. Works perfect in 'Dishonored' for instance.
Now that Far Cry 6 will be released in a couple of months, newer suggestions are less likely to be taken into consideration (if they even read the forums, of course). I don't think there should be any new story, gameplay and graphic suggestions. However, we should shift the discussion towards Arcade, Arcade Editor, outfits, and other subjects. You can still suggest anything in terms of gameplay and DLC if you want.

I find that games are 'locked down' a good while before launch.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post
I'd be surprised if any 'fan feedback' within a year of launch has any chance of being incorporated, though I'd say the chances of devs lurking silently from time to time would be pretty good, in respect of older posts. Many suggestions fall by the wayside simply because fans disagree all the time about what would be good.
Excellent thread though.![]()
I hope Far Cry 6 will get long term support with quality-of-life updates instead of being left behind and abandoned after less than a year like what happened with Far Cry 5. Less than five months remain until the game releases, so I am curious if Ubisoft is gonna make Far Cry 6 into a long term supported project until the next Far Cry is ready. If they do make continuous updates, it would likely be for next gen only since the PS4 and Xbox One seems to have already been pushed as far as they can go without holding back the game's quality. I noticed the textures and animation on the character models and animals such as the crocodile look somewhat rough in a few shots in the trailer. I figured this was due to it displaying the past gen version rather than the PS5 and Xbox Series X version to keep it a surprise.
