Nonsense and ,especially spamming, is your prerogative, Unsaneboi! With this - "Upgrade your Dunia Engine, upgrade your Dunia Engine...."
Captain Obvious! They know it without you. "Water is wet, snow is cold"

As for Dark Postapocalyptic Western or western style dark postapocalypse - also good for me! Adding some mysticism and devilry.....what is needed.
For instance, nuclear explosions caused changings not only in our material world but in subtle worlds as well. And all that creatures start penetrating in our world. Borders are broken now.

(I liked old Wolfenstein games. They were mystical....with all that devilry. Where you can shift between the worlds and see our world from a different angle.
But then they decided to stuff the game with robots. That's all! And the game has lost its delicate aroma.)

DNA-manipulated horses.... I would prefer simple horses!

But if developers don't want to bother with horses and make their brain ache with horses animation and 1st person riding.....We may have Iron Horses - motorbikes.

Horses are better, of course, but iron horses are good as well.

Password, if you like Heavy Horses this is also good....

Few words about Far Cry music....

I think the game should have 4 types of music. Songs that will go through the game. Not somewhere to find or listen on the radio but integrated in the story, in missions. Obvious. Impossible to miss.

    1) Beautiful. (Like it was "Help me faith".)

    2) Energetic. It will play during shooting, chasing or doing something active.

    3) Emotional. Difficult to explain. Something like this......

4)Sublime. Or it can be something religious. Like this......

And hypnotic, meditation music when we're travelling and roaming through the country.

Better if all that music will be authentic Far Cry music. Composed exclusively for Far Cry.

Two interessting ideas I collected which could be worth to be shared:

    1.
The first one concerns the main story of Far Cry - or better the possible problem: Where could Far Cry's main story line go after the "apocalypse" in Far Cry 5 and the "New Dawn Era". (If there is a main story line - in my oppinion, Far Cry doesn't need one, but - hey - he had an idea.)

The theorie is: The events of Far Cry New Dawn could be counted as "not real": Remember in Far Cry 5 if you confront Joseph Seed: He kicks these "Bliss" barrels towards you. The concentration of the "Bliss" could be very high and everything after this event - including the apocalypse and the events of New Dawn could be counted as not real. In this case the news in the radio (which the player might hear before) have to be "Bliss effected", too. Or in other words: The protagonist moves slowly but surely away from realitiy while playing Far Cry 5.

Don't know how "offensive" he thinks this theory should be communicated. In my oppinion it should be just a side-note or even a not clearly defined aspect. 'Plays Far Cry New Dawn in a real world?' - Any answer could make a few player sad. Anyway ... just wanted to share this thoughts.

    2.
Similar to fishing in Far Cry 5 and New Dawn, there could be a (more calm) side activity:

The player could use a metal detector to seek things that could be sold (detectorist style) ... all over the map, as long as there is a bit earth under the feet.

I like the idea: Very interessting things could be hidden, inculding very rare things and/or easter eggs? Also a few more story based ones that could be hinted by maps a player could buy.
Even special (and/or historical) weapons could be uneartherd (which could also be used, too). Like: A bow from the middle ages in a box, a special revolver from the "WIld West", the A.J.M. from Blood Dragon, a melee weapon as easter egg from Assassin's Creed (- would hit Ubisoft's style -) or an golden AK that was owned by the "Jackal" (from Far Cry 2).

Imo the theory that the ending is a bliss hallucination seems a bit flawed and wouldnt really makes sense to anything really...
There is literally nothing to suggest it anywhere, and it would contrary to almost everything explained in far cry 5. The radio, all the Seed dialogues and basically the whole story premise in far cry 5 would then be rendered completely senseless.
Also it seems kinda exaggerated and not showed anywhere that the bliss is capable of creating a whole made up fake event like this this. By that logic then the bliss is magic and then basically everything could be termed as a bliss hallucination. Things happening while under bliss influence is happening for real as i see it. Just makes you see different things and perceive the happenings differently.
I think the thing with the bliss barrels is clearly just to make up for a way to start a trippy fight with Joseph as a bullets sponge similar to the fight with Faith and a lot of other happenings. (The bliss is pure plot juice in this game)

Honestly i thought this theory was nearly long gone now and when i first saw it i thought(and still think) that it was just a rushy theory made up by people who disliked the ending to make themselves feel better about it...
Would be kinda weak to me and i also mean that the director of the game went out to state that is was real and not a bliss hallucination...
Now after all we can only assume for now, but imo i think it would be a lame cop out and kinda lazy to just say it was a hallucination and that the whole thing is fake...

There is plenty of other ways to still do the next setting in a world that is not nuked. It is unlikely that far cry 6 is set in a post-apocalyptic setting.
Earlier timeline... Maybe consider one of the other endings as "cannon"... Maybe if the game takes place in the unknown future thus just another rebuild world rather than a post apocalyptic... Maybe another planet...
Also the whole world was not demolished by nuclear war. It is actually only most of the USA and parts of the himalayas(Kyrat) as showed on a map in New Dawn. The rest is untouched, so this is most likely the case as the game is probably not set in the USA again - simply just in a location that wasn't hit by bombs.

I also think that the secret ending could be the ending they could consider "cannon" in context of the future franchise as this is the actual sane thing to do and what they kinda preach you to do in the game and most of all this ending leaves it most open for the player to interpretate what happened afterwards...
In that case they could easily continue the franshice without explaining too much about far cry 5. They could just drop a small hint or something in far cry 6 that explains that the national guard brought down a doomsdayc cult in the USA or something and then they simply wont have to explain anything else to provide closure.
iirc i also reckon that this is what they actually did with far cry 4 as there is not really any cannon endings here...
    However nobody knows yet...

Personally i think that the franchise just continues in a non-postapocalyptic modern age setting in a new location that is not hit by bombs and they wont hint or explain much about far cry 5 as the game are not really connected storywise, but they probably drop small hints to help clarify the conclusion...

About gameplay: I like this metal detector idea however then it have to be in a setting aswell that is suitable for this.

I also would like to get a more usefull perk system back again(Like in 3 and 4) with more takedown options aswell and actual skills to learn.

To me It was also a mistake to remove the whole skin-crafting system.

Also in far cry 5 i think that the weapon variety is kinda poor and a lot of weapons are just reskins just to make it look like there is a lot of weapons but in reality few actual different weapons.
Takedowns options... weapons, ammo and attachemnts... combat techniques etc... I guess all such things should be first priority in a action filled fps shooter...

I think every Far Cry should be standalone and independent.

It gives more freedom of creativity.

Since Far Cry 5 the game should have deep meaning. The game should be philosophical.

After the game people should discuss it.....arguing till the devil takes them! What was meant here, what was meant there.

Just only remember how Far Cry 5 was discussed! No one would have discussed some silly story so violently.

I was thinking about philosophical works of art......and suddenly this movie came to my mind.
It was not only philosophical but prophetic.
About how civilization can degrade. It was movie about possible coming degradation.

Many people who saw this movie first time didn't understand it first. What was it? Only then.....after some time the meaning began to reveal itself.

This movie is like intelligence test.

There are english subs. (If it doesn't open click watch it on youtube)

Another smaller idea from the person which like to see more western weapon in the game.
This idea has nothing to do with them. More with the topic "mercs/PMCs" and modern weapons.

The idea is to use "mixed magazines". This means some combatants mix their magazines with different ammo types in a battle:
Most common is in machine guns, each 5th or 10th is a tracer.
But also some combatants load their assault rifles with mixed ammo types, like each 2nd is hollow-point (HP), the other ones FMJ (full metal jacket) or even AP (armor piercing).
Shotguns in urban warfare can be loaded with each 2nd or each 3rd as "slug", the other ones with (different?) shots.

Sounds interessting and fits to the generall "Merc"- or "PMC"-topic which we already have in Far Cry.

    ~

In Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn we have different ammo types, like - example: for shotguns: shot, slugs or incendiary shot -, that can be selected.
There could be an option to select not only "slugs" or "shot", but also: "Urban PMC Mix". This means the weapon fires 2x shot 1x slug; ... or similar.

You [the player/ protagonist of the game] can buy the special ammo as "special ammo", so it's not needed to mix ammo types "manually".

    Example:
You have a "Homeland Shotgun" as one of your primary weapons.
    You can choose between:

    - standard ammo (shot)
    - slugs
    - "Urban PMC Mix" (2x shot, 1x slug // every 3rd is a slug)
    - "Pyro Mix" (1x shot, 1x incendiary slug // every 2nd is an incendiary slug)
    - "Armor Breaker Mix" (1x armor piercing sabot slug, 1x explosive mini grenade // your rifle fires rotative: armor piercing bullets and explosive bullets)

The possibility to give the ammo mixes cool and/or evil names is also given. Also the possibility to create some realy useful ammo-combos.
I am just not sure if an mini-editor in the game would be cool, or make it to complexe.

    For each ammo type [example]:
standard, slugs, Urban PMC Mix, Pyro Mix, Armor Breaker Mix; the game uses different ammo counters. There is no need to count each different bullet type of one mix by its type.

I realy like the idea, because it sounds very useful; and I don't know a game yet that uses this aspect already.

Being able to skin animal that you kill using vehicles is a big one for me. It really annoyed me in Far Cry New Dawn that I could come across a high level animal when I was in a vehicle but couldn't kill it with the mounted weapon and still skin it because it just despawned as soon as I got out of the vehicle.

I'd also like to keep the humor of Far Cry 5, I played Far Cry 5 before any other Far Cry game, and when I finally played the others I was expecting them all to contain the same humor, and was disappointed to find that it was mostly a Far Cry 5 thing.

Vaas's actor Michael Mondo just stated on Reddit that he may be reprising his role as Vaas "very soon."

    Idea for a mechanic:

Playing Far Cry 2 was (and is still) funny - especially if the foes start to be afraid of you.
That got me on an idea:

In the most situations (in the Far Cry Games) you can use stealth ... if your stealth is gone, you need to fight. Or you can attack without stealth of course. So, the player has the possibility to use more or less stealth. The other known factor is the range of the players weapons.

Why not add a mechanic, that 'simulates' fear/panic at the hostile soldiers? This would create a 3rd line of playing style variations.
It could work similar to the Assassin's Creed Syndicate Add-On (Jack the Ripper) ... but of course not that strong and exaggerated. Also the enemies should not run away; but take more cover, draw back if the player is advancing or their aiming should be worse if they are "scared".

Every weapon (and parts of the story) could create a "fear-level" to the (different (?)) enemies. Similar to Far Cry 2 - but more dynamic and situational (e. g. if the player attacks an outpost).
Also a few - let's say: more useless - weapons could be pushed into "beeing more useful" by increasing the "fear-level" at the enemies.
For example: If you kill 5 hostile soldiers in a base with an assault rifle, the fear-level of the other enemies will raise from 0 to 1 or 2 (from e. g. max. 10).

If the player uses an exotic weapon (or similar), like a bow or a muzzleloader (which normaly won't have any advantage because it is loud, slow and good visible), the fear-level of the enemies will raise from 0 to 1 with each kill by bow; or from 0 to 1,5 by each kill from the (former useless) muzzleloader.

This mechanic shouldn't be visible directly; but similar to Far Cry 2 the enemies should use more scared lines and dialogues.
The maximal "fear-level" shouldn't be a instant win for the player. Not like: All enemies run in panic around, ... but it could make the players job easier.
Of course the fear-level will decay after some time or - maybe - if the enemies hit the player to ofter ... or especially if the player pulls visible back.

I know there are similar systems/mechanics in a lot of games ... but nearly all are treated very neglected and appear plastic. (Sry, but: Like in Assassin's Creed Syndicate's Jack the Ripper Add On).
