I think it would be interesting to see the map expand with the release of region 5. We see region 5 will be the locked section of Portugal and Spain (could introduce a couple of Portuguese assassins), but then you could have special missions assigned to that southern section of France just above the Pyrenees mountains, and the Spanish islands (Ibiza, Maiorca and Menorca) for example, or extend the map to worldwide, and have missions set in different countries (and time periods) like in the helix rifts, but have them actually shown on the map in those countries, and have them be permanent (perhaps as rewards for certain region 5 or helix rift accomplishments) with legacy/loot/standard/story missions of heroes/materials and equipments/scrolls and potions from the different places and times.
Italy, Turkey, China, and Japan all have assassin lore in the renaissance period that Rebellion is based on, then there's Greece and Egypt BC, Israel and Syria in the Third Crusade to bring in Altair, the US and Central America in Colonial times, the UK and France during the Industrial and French Revolutions, perhaps Nordic countries (Norway/Sweden/Finland/Denmark/Iceland) in the time of Norse mythology, Russia with Nikolai Orelov and Anastasia in the time of the Bolsheviks, India with Arbaaz Mir in the time of the Sikh Empire. Who knows, maybe even Atlantis with the Isu and a couple of heroes with a level above legendary. Could craft Pieces of Eden as gear.
Could incorporate a naval aspect and have a price in gold to pay for moving assassins/goods across different places and timeframes, perhaps establishing/expanding our brotherhoods to other regions that have their own unique heroes with some obvious already existing cross-overs (the Turkish, Italian, Egyptian, and Greek heroes).
I know it's overzealous, but the game has a lot of potential and a strong fan-base, so I'm just throwing around some ideas off the top of my head. With so much lore spread across the games, books, movie, comics, Rebellion has already shown a potential for convergence. With expansion on that, the possibilities could offer the game a much larger lifespan.
All that said, thank you for the game, the hard work, this platform, and your time!
I had already sent this as feedback through the game a month ago, but this platform offers a chance to see what others may think about these ideas, so feel free to comment your thoughts!
