This is really the bottom line, and it has been since Div 1.

I can appreciate devs trying to take in everyone's feedback and make a game that everyone will enjoy, but I'm sorry to say that not everyone has great ideas. And trying to make this game everything to everyone just winds up making it feel shallow in all the areas it's trying to appeal to.

Right now devs are relying a bit too much on the community to determine this game's direction, rather than giving this game a solid direction and allowing a community that agrees with that direction to naturally form around their product.
