🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Crew forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

Ubisoft & Developers please read this

    Hi Ubi

For upcoming updates could you please add & fix these things in the Crew 2.

Note: some of these things were already in the Crew 1.

    1) License plate challenges

this would give players more of a reason to explore the map.

    2) Two-Colour paint option - I know we have a livery editor but I really liked this feature, and others did as well so please bring it back.

    3) A mechanic shop that we can drive to get our cars serviced and repaired at ?

I have seen a black and yellow mechanic shop in Los Angeles and other places in the game. You could let us drive there and repair/tune our cars.

    4) Neon underglows. Vanity items are a step in the right direction, don't stop now Ubi please add a neon underglow option with colours such as:

    Blue
    Red
    Green
    White
    & So on..

    5) Now this is a big one for me and others.

Improving the cities and textures in this game. Some cities have been changed so drastically it has taken the enjoyment of going to them. In the Crew 1 there was so much variation between cities and they didn't all look the same. Many buildings and pavements & roads are low resolution and are bland.

The little things like adding the Military Base and improving Chicago and other places will make a big difference and it will be more enjoyable going to those places knowing that it's the way it should be.

In summary I would like you (Ubi) to improve on the cities in the Crew 2.

I have concerns that this might not be changed that is why I keep asking about it.

    6) Purchasable houses. Please !!

    7) Improvement on story.

    8) Stability Improvements for console users. (lagg and glitches)

    9) The last thing I can ask is if you would fix the existing bugs and glitches in this game. Some have been in this game since the Crew 1.

Thank you for listening and please inform all the team of all these requests.

    We already have that.

What for, exactly? I see no point in this.

    6) Purchasable houses. Please !!
Fully agree, getting sick of only starting in L.A. or Miami.

    7) Improvement on story.
What for though? For me personally a story doesn't mean anything in a racing game. Like a story doesn't add anything to the driving experience, it may be a good icing on the cake, but it's not an important factor. And the time they would need to develop a story and the money needed for voiceacting is better put into other things.

    Right here:

When you select "fine tune", you can select both colours. In this case, I selected red and green:

A story is the most important things in a game not just a racing game. The story in the Crew 1 wasn't the best but it still had a way of making us progress more to see what was going to happen next. If the Crew 2 had funny characters which actual personalities and backgrounds then it would be more engaging than simply having "motorsport" hq's.

Thats all well and good but im specifically talking about the two-tone paint option in the Crew 1. You didn't have to do it yourself whatever colours you had one colour would go on the top and the other on the bottom. Look at TC1 and you will see what im talking about. Thanks for this anyway

Yeah, nah. Iridescent and two-tone is not the same, like the person above me said.

Additional information: Photo mode in the first Crew was SO MUCH better.

Once I was done with the story, I didn't care much about it and I came back to TC1 for the cars and the driving. Sure, a story can be well-done, in racing games and shooters alike, but once you've seen it, you've seen it, and there won't be anything that keeps you drawing back to the story.

Racing for the sake of racing and winning is more than enough story for me.
All this criminal drama undercover revenge cliche crap... IMO NFS Porsche 2000/Unlimited had a perfect story. You were just racing to progress through years and unlock newer and newer cars, It was great because it was about cars, not the player character. The character in racing games doesnt matter, its just players avatar, nothing more. Cars are the real stars.
TC2 could do something similar. It has a lot of historical cars that were record holders at their time. This is never mentioned in-game, you wont know if a car is special if you dont already know it. Some historical events made specifically for those cars would be nice.
