Since the source code of the game (Heroes of Might and Magic III) was found as you can see here...

Why Ubisoft not released yet the expansions (Complete Version of the game) in HD?
It would be the definitive version of the game. And since it's just some minor changes and additional creatures and campaings, it's eazy to make.
Come on Ubi, make us old gamers proud. I wouldn't mind paying for the expansions...
Hey Demeter1608 and Achrdili - welcome to the Ubisoft Forums, both of you!
I'll happily forward your feedback regarding a further remastered / "definitive" edition of Heroes of Might and Magic III! If you have any additional comments you'd like to make, send them my way.
What is your favourite part of the original game expansions that you'd like to see brought to life in HD?
I would love to have the original Heroes of Might as Magic III with the DLCs or Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete Edition, but in HD.
As for additional features:
- Remote play together for Steam
- Map generator (there are already map generator mods on the internet)
- A box where you can see how the map looks like when you select a scenario map
- Ranked mode for multiplayer (nothing fancy, just to keep things interesting)
- The simplest thing you can do is make an ELO system starting from 800 like on Chess.com, and make a new rank every 300 elo points:
* 0 - 300 rank Bronze III
* 300 - 600 rank Bronze II
* 600 - 900 rank Bronze I
* 900 - 1200 rank Silver III
* 1200 - 1500 rank Silver II
* 1500 - 1800 rank Silver I
* 1800 - 2100 rank Gold III
* 2100 - 2400 rank Gold II
* 2400 - ???? rank Gold I
- It doesn't have to be anything fancy because HoMM3 will never become an e-sports game, it's just for players that like a challenge and bragging rights. It also helps to tell newbies from pros, because newbies usually want to play with other newbies and pros with other pros. You don't have to have an automatic matchmaking system, just the classic create and join server. Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War has it this way since 2004, with rank and all, and it still works.
Hello Ubi-Woofer
I am not a guy, who fight against gaming company, but here a proper "constructive criticism" is needed
As an other game company release the modern version of classic strategy games (age of empires, command and conquer, starcraft), the complete version, which contains all kind of official expansion is -The Standard-
In the case of Heroes III HD edition, a decision to release game without expansions, and without steam workshop support (the game has strong and creative fanbase) was totally absurd.
The highlight of original expansions were campaigns for me,
aside of them, the expansions add
- new 9. faction/castle "Conflux"
- new creatures
- new artifacts
- ability to combine artifacts in to the sets
- map generator
- new skirmish maps
- new objects & terrains
Aside of this the Age of Empires and Command and Conquer remasters add some some "quality of life improvements" to a classic games
For Heroes III would be great to have "combat turn order display bar" like in HD mod or newest Heroes games and button to recruit all available creatures
with a "Witch Hut" would be nice to have a option to accept to learn a new secondary skill
